  4. All wolves are lesser in all respects to the Lur wolf.
  5. My attitude to raiding upon those who don't want it has changed. I now think it's one of the largest reasons why there's widespread OOC conflict on the server. Honestly, what's the point for the raiders? The Orcs are okay with raiding, the Dwarves are okay with raiding, and the humans are okay with raiding. That means for any one of them there's 2 potential targets, three for Orcs and Dwarves(with both Kaldonia and Vekaro). There's plenty of places to raid where there won't be OOC conflict. Why then do you want to raid places that don't want it when all it causes is OOC conflict? The only reason I can think of is that you are purposefully bullying the players in those settlements, using the frustration it causes to them for your own personal entertainment. Which is something that should not be permitted at all, never mind allowed to happen in the rules.

  11. If your faction's RP consists solely of raids then asking for more access to raids will only cause your faction to fall further into zero-RP. If you want more RP for your faction, raids won't get you that, they'll just get people online, which isn't the same thing. What you should be doing is trying to increase the amount of non-conflict RP, not the opposite kind.
  12. Very nice thread. Hopefully people will use this to look into Orcs before making their chars, it's better for all of us. (Looking at you destroyer)

  14. I think there needs to be more clarification on what a water spirit actually is in this context, otherwise confusion with the water spirits of Shamanism is to be expected.
  15. Well, since in praising Spirits you actually give them power, a sacrifice is a death dedicated to Tagnir, so even if they don't perma he'd get quite a bit of power (though a perma would be much more).
  16. Now in the official lore he's not a daemon, he's just a normal spirit. And Tagnir would actually be very powerful, because people die literally all the time, only they're revived just so they can die again. He feeds off the actual death of people, not from them remaining dead.
  17. Kor is the elemental Spirit of the Dead, like Charon, not death. So it does actually make more sense that he be the patron of the cult, as it is him who would want the dead on their way to the afterlife rather than remaining with mortals.
  18. Yespl0x. Would have to find someone to make a skin though, and I doubt muyakelg's would be the most straightforward things to make a skin of, never mind roleplay. :p EDIT: Added in the 2nd shrine design.
  19. Loving Shaman organisation. Feels like the beginning of something great.
  20. Muy bueno. Enrohk better than Ogron the scrub spirit, tho.
  21. The Cult of Enrohk The Cult of Enrohk is a shamanic cult that specifically praises Enrohk and his aspects, Bloodlust, Savagery and War. They perform rituals that honour him and serve to extend his power in the mortal realm, as well as targeting their prayers to the Spirits towards Enrohk in more frequently, asking that he bless his followers with his power. The members need not be shamans, only Orcs that wish to praise Enrohk, sometimes because they feel a calling towards Enrohk, or so that he might grant them greater prowess in the field of battle, or sometimes so they can get closer to the deeper, more bestial side of the Orcs, so that they can make a deeper connection with their ancestors. The Cult is lead by a Prophet of Enrohk, who is a shaman who acts as the bridge between Enrohk and his followers, the Apostles, and who also accepts new Apostles into the cult. The current Prophet is: Buubztik'Lur. The war cry of followers of Enrohk is "Nagijak, urukim!" (In blood, we are Orcs!) Origins Buubztik sat meditating in the desert. The tranquility of it made it easier to reach out to the Spirit Realm, and the spiritual home of Orcs, the desert, filled him with a sense of security in his faith that he couldn't find anywhere else. As his mind slipped further and further from the world into the Spirit Realm, he felt a strange pull, his own spirit gravitating towards the fiery and angry area of the Spirit Realm where Scathach and his children resided. Buubztik thought this extremely odd. He had cleared his mind of all emotion before letting go on reality, so why was he wandering here? However, as he slowed down, the immense form of Enrohk appeared before him. The great Immortal Spirit's power was almost that of an Elemental, the endless warmongery of mortal-kind giving him nigh-on unlimited strength and standing in his realm. As Buubztik looked up to the bloody and scarred form of Enrohk, a great booming voice dripping with malice and abrasive with savagery filled his mind. "Buubztik...latbaj urrogatob armaukob frumz, ug latvrasuk shum-mar. Mashof balishi latgijak. Latubat masharbtur, matuurz hashat migas mafuk. Gruk Buubztik; Nagijak, laturukim." Buubztik then allowed his spirit to fall back into his body. As he returned, a single image was burned into his mind. He wiped away the sweat, got to his feet, and went off to begin his work. Rituals and Prayers With the cult being centred around a Spirit who's aspects are so bloody and hate-filled, the rituals and prayers of the Cult of Enrohk reflect that nature, and so often involve the use of blood and sacrifice. Aside from the active rituals, any form of combat that draws blood is considered a ritual and a praising of Enrohk. Ritual of Induction This is the ritual whereby followers of Enrohk are accepted into the cult. After this point, they are reborn as beings of Enrohk, their ultimate goal in life solely being to wreak war and spill blood. Firstly, the inductee is stripped to the waist if necessary. Then, a slave or something else sentient to sacrifice, is sliced open by the neck and held over a basin, so that their blood collects. After the sacrifice is suitably drained, the inductee's head is pushed under the blood, and then they are pulled back up. After this, they take an oath that swears their eternal servitude to the making of war, battle, and the spilling of blood, which is administered by the Prophet of Enrohk, and then his symbol is cut into his their chest. The blood on their upper bodies is then left on them, and is not to be washed off intentionally until the blood has completely dried Ritual of Bloody Praise As is a common trait of rituals in the cult of Enrohk, the Ritual of Bloody Praise involves a sacrifice. The sacrifice is held over a stone block with several trenches in it, carved into the mark of Enrohk. The victim's heart is then pulled out whilst they still live, and placed at the point in the middle where the 3 lines meet, so that the blood flows to fill the trenches. The partakers then call out to Enrohk, praising him, informing him of the sacrifice and asking that he will accept it. Litany of Eternal War This litany is often used as praise to Enrohk, and as a beseeching to him that he may grant his followers the blessing of battle to partake in. "Enrohk, mamubaj bolvagob narlufut. Narlaudh mubulatan shigogob gijak ug vogalob gurz. Udahokan mashapat ug fukan shatiob mahashat. Nagijak, urukim." If the prayer is made as part of a sermon delivered by a shaman, then the attenders will each have the mark of Enrohk smeared in the blood of a fresh sacrifice on their forehead. Shrines of Enrohk The Shrine of Enrohk is quite simple looking, and not very complex to make. It consists of a sandstone structure, with a large hole in the centre. The inside of the hole is entirely stained with blood, so much that the stone is permanently crimson. Apart from this, there is a metal plate in the bottom side of the hole, upon which rests a sword stained with blood. The next shrine is much larger than the previous, and is only really used in places that may be holy sites or places of great importance. It consists of a large platform made from blood-stained rock in the shape of Enrohk's herald, surrounded by steps. In each corner of the symbol, there is a pillar almost 3 metres tall, also made from the blood-stone. On each pillar, an instrument of war is pressed in, and then in the centre of the platform there is a sacrificial altar, with the carvings necessary for the Ritual of Bloody Praise. At either side of the altar, two skulls sit atop small platforms, facing inwards. Symbol shamelessly taken from Warhammer
  22. Ah right. In that case, Witch Doctor is anything but a combat magic. All of it's magics are for use outside combat, though not all are support are defense. The curses are the most offensive part of it, and they range from giving illnesses to making them temporarily dull-witted olog-brains. But as I say, Witch Doctory is almost certainly not a combat magic, and I don't believe there should be any attempts to make it so.
  23. How is removing bias towards Krugmar going to help Orcs prosper in any way? If we split we die, there's simply not the playerbase to sustain two factions.
  24. Buubztik chuckles "Id peepz lyk duh nuutiz hab lozt der wull. Dey uhlow zuu-blah'd "lezurz" entuh der goi tuh bikum zitizunz. Mi wud blah zumfin uhbowd duh myti fohlin, bud dey nevur wuz myti."
