They've grown to hate the overbearing empire and are attempting to split it up so they can rule their lands without fear. They want to destroy the empire part of Oren, and let it become multiple, completely sovereign kingdoms. It's something people have been wanting for a while, but they've never had the military power before to overthrow the regime. I guess you could call it a revolution. 

It all started when Oren decided to exterminate the Orcs. It failed, and we sought refuge with the Dwarves. After impossible terms Oren declared war on the Dwarves, too. Then some of the Humans decided to jump in on the action and seize the opportunity.
