I forgot there can't be nation roleplay because there can't be roleplay because people take everything personally and are terrified of negative interactions in character. There can't be compromise because everyone has to get exactly what they want, and if something happens in character that isn't what they expected they'll pitch a fit. It's a sad state but I guess it's the state the server is in.
Ultimately, nobody can force you to roleplay anywhere. While it's disappointing to see a playerbase so disconnected from the idea of compromising with anyone else or roleplaying outside of their friend circle, there's nothing to do about that. I just hope at some point you guys eventually realize you'll have a lot more creative freedom if you create your own D&D campaign or your own Minecraft server.
