Farryn

Elvira tilts her head at the pamphlet, a deep frown locked on her lips. "Black tree? Dark clothing? Evil words? Looks like trouble is brewing up again..." she sighs and would then scrunch the pamphlet up into a little ball. "And here I thought we had enough troubles already.." The Pyro Alchemist would then proceed to burn the pamphlet with her magic, leaving behind the ashes as she walks away.

Got the Giratina part because it's my favourite pokemon and I can relate to it (lonely yet destructive). Use to go by the username of Giratina2777 in some other games. Went to create an email... Hotmail/Outlook recommended the Xable part so I decided to use that. And thus, GiratinaXable was born.

Okay. Two questions. Firstly: Do you even think about the users? Secondly: What is the absolute point? These VAs and MAs are just going to restrict RP. Someone wants to be a villain? Let's not let him be a villain because he didn't write his application correctly! Seriously, why put these in when you could just try and promote villains and magic. You can't just decide whenever or not too let someone be a villain or to use magic just because of how they write, and whenever or not their grammar is good. Besides, it's quicker and easier to just let the users make a character who is a villain, or to find a teacher to teach them magic, not just sat in their chair and waiting for hours or days for their application to be accepted! That's just plain stupidity right there. So two things: GET RID OF THEM and let anyone who wants to become a villain BE a villain or learn magic! (as long as they do it damn good). And most of all: LISTEN TO OUR OPINION. We are the users here and we do have the right to decide for the server's sake. Heck, I would actually recommend suggesting this idea to us and see what we think of it, not just slamming it down and declaring this will happen. Thank you, I felt like ranting this since I really dislike this, so I am sorry if I did anger you. Seriously though, NO VAs and MAs! >:(

-Within the Cloud Temple's library, a small book made of fine made leather dyed the colour of dark grass on one of the tables would capture your eyes. Curious on why this book wasn't placed back, you decide to go over and inspect the book. At closer inspection, the book's cover is embedded with an iron symbol- -Carefully, you open the book to the front page, where you are greeted with the following words- The Journal of Ser Dorian Naromis Entries 1 - 4 Rewritten by Ignis Ales Published under Ser Dorian's last wish. -Wondering exactly who this man, or whatever race is, and what could be written within these first four entries, you decide to read on- Note from Ignis Ales Entry one Entry two Entry three Day 15: We failed. We lost Xiona today. Gris is grieving deeply and I share that sorrow. I got to know Xiona during my time with her: She was a sweet and caring woman, you could say she was as sweet as a Desert Bush berry. (Desert Bush berries are an Alchemy ingredient that is found on the Desert Bush within a desert. They’re known for their sweetness. I use them in one or two recipes by combining them with strawberries.) But alas, death has whisked her away before she and Gris could get married. She has become the bride of death, her tomb now her bridal chamber. I should perhaps go to Gris, I can hear his wails of grief clearly from my guestroom. If there is one thing Gris needs, he needs comfort as of now. I shall do my best to help him. -At the final page of the book, you would notice there is another note from Ignis ales- "I've decided to split the journals into separate books. Not only does it let me have breaks between publishing each book, it lets me leave you on cliffhangers. Keep an eye out for volume two! - Ignis Ales." OOC:

Although I agree that the beard does look like whipped cream or even a large amount of shaving foam just splattered onto his face. xD It's actually a well done sketch, I like it.

So, I've been suffering from Writer's block recently (yup, that vile thing) but now recovered from it! Now I'm back to writing and I feel like sharing a small extract from the current book I'm writing! Additionally, this is a new writing style I've adapted to so hopefully it should be good. I just kinda want to see if this is a good writing style for me, and just to see if people like this opening. ^_^ Sadly, I won't be showing you all the chapters, as this is a book I am hoping to get published and publishing it here will only ruin those chances, as learnt from past experience. The Elementa Series: Skotádi (Book one) Chapter one: Farryn Farryn Kestrel was only young when it happened, just turned thirteen. One moment, it was all peaceful and a typical normal day. The next, everything just changed in a matter seconds. Like pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger, a life immediately changed while the other is dead. Her life changed, her old life now gone. It was her thirteenth birthday, February 19th 2012. The English city of Leeds was filled with normality.The weather above was as clear as day, and surprisingly warm. People roamed the streets, talking amongst each other, while some sprinted to and forth through the crowds. Birds soared through the air gracefully while the insects crawled through the grasslands. Everything was perfectly normal. “Farrynnn!” Farryn turned around and had to put all her strength into her feet to keep herself up as a blonde blur tackled her into a hug. Her childhood friend, Layla, released a wide grin that stretched upon her face. “Thanks Layla!” Farryn replied, smiling back. Her voice was sweet and innocent, although that would not last for long. She noticed the young blonde girl was holding a present in her hand and sighed, still smiling. “You shouldn't have…” The two were in the back garden where the party was taking place. Here and there, tables laid with foods and drinks were scattered around the grass. Streamers and banners hung from the washing line, waving gently within the wind’s grasp. People, from children the same ages to adults, were mingled around, chatting to each other happily. It seemed like another typical party, although no one knew what would occur next. “C’mon Farryn! It’s your birthday! You’re now the big thirteen!” Layla cried, shoving the present to Farryn. “You’re now a teenager! Besides, this present is one you will love! I’m not going to take no for an answer and hand it back to the shop!” “I suppose,” Farryn took the present and examined it. It was rectangular and quite heavy, also the size of a large book. It was wrapped in simple wrapping paper with a cartoon character pattern on top. Carefully Farryn tore the wrapping paper off and her lips formed a wide grin. “No way! You got me the other Power of Five books!” Layla nodded happily. “Seeing that you were so absorbed in ‘Raven’s Gate’, I decided to buy you the rest of the books!” Farryn immediately flung her right arm over Layla’s shoulder, pulling the girl into a hug. “Thanks Lay! This will keep me busy for weeks!” “Not if you read them at your normal reading speed! You’ll finish the series in three days!” The two girls broke into laughter. After they stopped laughing, Farryn went to place the books with her other presents. Her straight, light brown hair flowing behind her, while her fringe covered the left side of her face. She was rather short, reaching only 5’3, and resembled more of a twig. Her skin was the average British white colour, although a little pale. Some people wondered if Farryn was underweight but one would find her in the best of conditions. Her blue grey eyes scanned the party, spotting one or two people she knew from high school. With a sigh, Farryn closed her eyes and relaxed. Her grey coat and trousers brushing against her lightly. ~~~ And thus, I end the extract here. I don't want to give much away. ^_^

Elvi would be dying to know about this new world, and basically about technology. In other words, no library will be safe from her! Knowing her, she'll likely get use to this new life and become a master chief or a writer. On the plus side, her kestrel comes with her and makes scientists scratch their heads at his appearance and how does he have an intelligent (although not fully intelligent) mind. Farryn.... wellll.... she'll be challenging people to duels... then getting arrested by the police and challenging them to a duel. After that? No idea. Probably joins the police force. xD

Well. Seeing that I'm yet to actually do a proper introduction to myself, and one or two people asked me to, I decided to do one of these! Plus, it's fun! So, who am I? Well, here's the information. My most common name is: GiratinaXable (although apparently I do have a real name in something called 'the real world'). No idea why I chosen that name, although I remember Google generating it for me, and it had stuck with me since. Age: I'm 17 (just turned this year!). Born February 19th 1998. Born and raised in England (Yep, I have the British accent!) I'm currently in my first year of college. (I'm studying AS level Film Studies, Classical Civilization, History, and GCSE Latin) Joined LOTC on the 27th of October 2014. Use to go on another RP server called Massivecraft but LOTC was more of my cup of tea due to the RP being everywhere and not set in one location. Also the lore was much richer. Not to mention Massivecraft was becoming more boring and less RP as it's also a faction server, so I switched from Massivecraft to here! In real life, I am currently aiming to become a book author. Already, I have wrote roughly 5 different versions of the same book, a supernatural book set in Japan, a sci-fi book set in America in 2777, a Victorian era book about a vampire huntress and, just recently, just got inspired to write a book about Alchemists in Modern day Britain. Yes, I have tried to get published but overall: Rejected 9 times but still trying! If anyone wants to ask about the books more or want some writing advice, feel free to PM me about it! And yes, this does mean I may have wrote one or two fanfictions in my lifetime (No shipping or romance included). Enjoys reading The Power of Five Series by Anthony Horowitz (Highly recommended) Likes Animes and Mangas... a lot. (AKA Parasyte, Fairy Tail, etc). Likes Ramen. Drawing anime style. Listening to powerful orchestral/game music (if the music is either orchestral, powerful, emotional, or battle music.) Likes fire (No idea why, just watching fire calms me down and I like the smell of smoke). As seen in the name, likes Pokemon, especially Giratina. Has Steam and plays a lot of Magicite. My personality is... unpredictable. You will not even know what I will do. I am kind, friendly, non-judgmental, also a little shy and timid as well but I can literally make everyone freeze and stare at me if I do something they would never expect me to do. ^_^ Heheh. Tends to go quite deep into character profiles, their names and personalities, as seen with Elvi's profile. Being a writer has its perks. Currently suffering from writer's block! Here on LOTC, I play as three characters: Elvira Terryal Farryn Kestria Tari And here's some random facts about myself: I'm right handed and I am small in height (around 5'4ft) I use to have blonde hair and I am now slowly turning brown. Due to my odd personality and hair (back when I was blonde), I was known as the muggle version of Luna Lovegood. I have a range of nicknames: Farryn. Elvi. Gira. KM. Senpai (no joke), and Sensai. I don't tend to post on the forums a lot, just on things that catches my interest or something that I just have to post. I've played almost all the pokemon games. From red to Black/White. Sadly, haven't got OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire. Back in my childhood days, I wanted to be a dragon... then growing up happened. I love to use other peoples' words against them, especially when the moment is just perfect. I got a jar of dirt. and guess what's inside it. (I had to.) Elvi looks at the note and shakes her head with disgust. "What's the point in becoming immortal? It'll just become purely a curse and you'll have to watch all your allies die while you remain the same. If anything, I'd rather be able to grow old and die than just be immortal for all eternity." With a huff, she takes the poster down and happily sets it on fire, she then continues down the road.
