Lutaumancy, the ability to visit the Ancestral realm of Krug (An Orc), being only allowed for Orcs when?
-
@AreonBefore the re-write that wiped out canonical Stargush and Spirit lore, in order to give an excuse for none-Orcs to go to the Stargush, it was Krug's realm and had ultimate power over it. The introduction of Apohet and turning Krug, who in his none Shaman days withstood Iblees, into practically a puppet of Kor and Apohet was a terrible mistake and was completely pointless.

I woke to blood on my fingertips, the blade was starin’ at me like we go back
Like true adults, we should be proud
There’s still pain seepin’ through your skull
I just forget you’re not the ***** I once knew
I've got this feeling in my bones
And I swear it’s as pure as my soul will let
I’d take a body for your plate, just watch you eat and wait for crumbs
I’ve got some worries of my own
Like what if one day you explode
And jab a knife into me for words I’ve said?
I promise you’ll get the best of me -
Thoughts on needing to carry a lored and signed suit of Plate Armour in inventory when ever your character is wearing it IRP? Too many walk around with it on as if it’s some cheap and comfortable piece of gambeson. Plate is extremely powerful armour and expensive, and should be treated as such in the rules.
-
@Temp No, when I say lored, I mean item description. I agree that needing LTs would make it silly

@Temp Maybe, or since people who donate can only sign items a certain amount of times a week, they could charge a fair price for their work. Also, that’s the worst that can happen. People will have a signed item in their inventory, and if such happens and makes no impact on full-plate usage, the rule can be retracted.

What it means is that people can’t walk around with a very powerful piece of equipment that only the wealthiest of society could afford. There’s a vast amount of other armour types that can be used, and having people explore the unique and diverse range of armours, all coming with their own unique specialties would make RP more engaging. Not only that, but you will be able to identify knights and nobility by their armour, as it was back in medieval times. Instead, every retard is given a plate-armour skin like it’s some cheap piece of metal. Also, it’s not hard to simply find a blacksmith and ask ‘Hey, can you make me a suite of armour?’ then have them agree, make it, then you pay them. It really wouldn’t hinder people a great deal, but just means it’s no this super common thing that any retard can put on and bandit with, and you won’t see a poor garrison lad standing with polished full-plate

@Temp Bows and swords aren’t as powerful and difficult to smith than a suite of full-plate armour that needs to be measured and made exactly to the wearer’s physique.

@Temp Never mentioned an app

@Master Baiter Because my Orc doesn’t constantly walk around in armour, carry arrows and carry a bow, however since Nexus is gone I need to somehow represent his strength in PVP, so I decide to bring gear. Also, no need to make the game so balanced as to introduce firearms. I’d just like to see a little more realism by people needing to simply find a blacksmith to craft the gear.
@jdesarno Likely no-one would wear armour, and they don’t have to. Also, never mentioned apps. I also don’t I mind if people get triggered if I wrote a proposed player-signed plate-armour rule.

@Fireheart What is the point of these new rules? Why can’t a PRO control the roads of his own territory? Why cannot he alter them as he sees fit?
White Rose checkpoint and the Dour Watch keep come to mind as historic road checkpoints that added to RP. Instead, you’re removing nation autonomy in favor of RP breaking, invincible and unmalleable roads.
-
It depends on the intent of Renatus. If they want to protect specifically their own road to their city, then yes, although if their enemies are in the north, and they want to inhibit the northern nation/s, forming such a roadblock would be a good tactic for doing so, especially when you consider to get around that roadblock when approaching from the north you have to either swim across that small river next to the roadblock, or go right around Renatus so that you’re approaching from the south. I believe this fort is a good tactic of warfare, without needing to send a group of goons to attack your target.

I see your point, although there can always be another road built on the opposite side of the river, which would be a sensible thing to do @Sky

Iron armour isn’t powerful in PVP, but neither are runic weapons. With full-plate, you’re next to invulnerable to bows, susceptible to only the strongest Crossbows, which are big, heavy and not guaranteed to penetrate. In melee combat, no sword or axe is going to pierce your armour, only areas vulnerable to penetration are the joints. Maces are only effective when striking the head, which still needs a lot of force, and multiple hits are required to land to render the foe incapacitated. There’s few ways to kill someone in full-plate, and when so many walk around in it like it’s some sort of cheap gambeson, there’s something wrong. Also, Iron Armour is completely seperate to what you have IRP. I can have a full-set of iron armour, a shield, 64 arrows and a bow in my inventory, but IRP I have only a sword. Yet when PVP starts, I suddenly have all that I mentioned. Iron armour is for PVP, and doesn’t represent what you actually have. Not only that, if you want to get to the details, Full-Plate was made from steel, in most cases. If you want Iron armour to be full-plate, it should be called steel armour. Also, the fact it’s a fantasy server doesn’t suddenly throw the laws of physics out the window. You still fall and injure yourself, push things away when you knock them and break glass when strike it. Just because you can MCly collect a heap load of iron from mining it, doesn’t mean your character is a god at mining, in the same way not everyone is an amazing alchemist, despite everyone being able to say ‘Oh I can make potions’ and then suddenly make some.

I wanted to apply with my Alt anyway, so since I was banned I thought 'Well I might as well' @Pond

I was banned for like 3 days because I PVP logged from some PVP goons. I have an Alt that I haven't applied with yet, so since I was banned and wanted a none-registered Alt for a while, I did a Whitelist application for it.... although I think I'm retarded and have a tumour in my **** because I applied on my normal forum account hahaha. I reported to try and get it removed, as if it was some honest mistake, but the big bois were too fast and slammed me for trying to get around the ban with an Alt. Fat rip, if you ever Alt, make sure you're not applying with your normal account. @Flamelynx

the fact that you have to be fucked in the ass by a nation first to be able to war them is ignorant at best
