Welp, they sure did cower in that hole really well. GG’s I guess, a win is a win by the rules even if I don’t like it.

A question for the players that have been here for long: During the time that there was physical currency, why didn’t it work? Was it because of duping glitches?
-
In Ausolon you could have minas, they where a renamed type of emerald if I recall, right around the time with armor weight and quivers and all that. It wasn’t awful, but more trouble than it was worth, you could dupe minas, it was a hassle to carry around since they didn’t stack very high, and trading with them was annoying. I could see it working, but it isn’t really worth the benefits even if done right imo.

Looking for two folk to play high elf twins, one a son and the other a daughter. I’m looking for experienced players who will be able to dedicate time and activity to the character.
If you’re interested message me on discord: Rae#3015 -

@Fireheart_I think LOTC’s 7.0 trailer should include a lot more then terrain, nobody gets hype over seeing empty plains and a few mountains. Show cities and part of a story arc idk, not just plain boring terrain.
-
we should extend the switch to 7.0 by a few months and get a new map done.
It looks ******* horrible, there’s little saving parts about it, something needs to change.
-
While I have been hoping for extreme terrain regarding maps for sometime now, saying the map horrible is a bit over the top. I agree a bit bland, but most people prefer settling in grassy / plains style biomes and building in them. Still feel like things like canyons, cliffs, and more extreme terrain overall is a little underdone for a fantasy style setting but practicality and usability is a consideration the map needs. Instead of just saying its **** overall, perhaps give some actual feedback about it and a what you would like to see added / changed.

Anyone interested in playing / learning D&D 5e? Just wrapped up a campaign and wanted to DM a new players campaign for anyone around here on Roll20 for a few months. PM on discord if interested and see if there is enough interest to get a game together.

I find it funny that everyone I've seen so far that is against creatures having even the smallest buffs such as no hunger or waterbreathing cry about unfair PVP. It's not supposed to be a fair fight, depending on the creature you're fighting they could be incredible strong. Stronger than your orenian soldier could ever dream of being. Due to this they should have the ability to have a PVP buff incase some random kiddo who hates the idea of RP fighting calls PVP default.they can't even fathom the idea of us having infinite hunger even if lore states we don't have to eat just because they're afraid of losing pixels. What these players are advocating for is basically screeching at From Software to nerf the boss from Bloodborne into the ground to make it a fair fight.

Dread knights are undead badasses, but I see no correlation to them being harder to kill in mineman pvp. They are rply tanky suits of armor that can't be 'killed' unless you deal with the blood rune. That is their advantage, its what gives them weight in rp, just like a human fighting one is most likely more agile and limber, or perhaps a user of magic. Should a wizard adept at magic that is effective versus a dreadknight get a pvp buff to help them fight one? Should a wizard who's magic is ineffective versus a dread knight get a debuff? RP and characters are to complex to be surmised by a simple pvp buff and we are better off without them. Just because you play a diffrent race doesn't mean other players should have a harder time dealing with you as they would any other player when things move to pvp, which is just a representation of events unfolding.
You could say your advantages are represented by how apt you are at PVP, if you are bad at PVP you are clearly not a very strong dreadknight it would seem, since we are so invested in binding mechanics to RP, would it be fair to say someone who is trash at pvp can't rp as a strong character?

Why do you think the fact you play a spooky man gives you the right to mineman pvp better. You are not a boss from bloodborne. You are another player on the server and I see no reason for pvp buffs, at least following this line of skewed logic, you are not above the rest of the races for any reason, not some boss creature whatever your fantasy may be.
Just selecting to play a spook does not make you special, it is still just a character, just like a mage shouldn't be stronger than anyone else by the rules. Your character has nothing to do with mechanics, sorry your roleplay might inherently lead to people wanting to kill you for you know, being an undead monster or magical creature or whatever, who's rp often is antagonistic to some groups by your very existence. But you made the choice to rp this race, no one else owes you anything.
Like, imagine it like this

On top of this, we all know this ends with nations fielding undead / creature armies purely for buffs and every race wanting something and people complaining about what others have. CHOOSING to play a spook or other such creature does not mean you are owed buffs of any kind, that us vs them mentality is toxic, we are all players just the same who are playing characters.

Person makes a poll about removing the energy system. Over 55% of the playerbase agrees (from a sample pool of 90 people), staff immediately says "sorry we think it's better it's staying". Typical Dev Team

Anyone else unable to change their skins through the minecraft homepage? I keep getting '503 Service Temporarily Unavaliable'

Oh, jeez. You left your computer alone for a moment to go to the bathroom and, once finished, you come back to find that your parents are on it, clicking away!
What do you do?!
-
Uh-oh. Looks like you've landed yourself in a tight situation, somehow. On your walk home, you took a wrong turn on a street while distracted and ended up in an alleyway. Figuring out that you were lost, you turned around to return and exit the alley, only to be met by a man wearing a ski mask and pointing a revolver directly at your torso.
In a hurried hiss, he made his demands.
"Hand over your wallet and your phone. NOW."
What do you do?!

one month bans are insane, thats already 30 days away from the server, anything above that is plain idiotic... its a minecraft server not a correctional facility wtf
-
Im fine with petty rule ****, specially first time offenses, shouldnt get banned on obscure rules for a month, give em a warning and move on, repeat offenders suffer the consequences. But intetionally downloading clients to cheat should get no mercy, that IS harming the rest of the playerbase. Xraying is little less than spawning in ore at the end of the process.
