    Wonderful post, some great ideas here. Children are a wonderful gateway to sections of RP you haven't experienced before so its a shame to see people fall into the edgy orphan trope. If you are RPing with a child as a parent or close companion, give them things to go on, just posing some more mundane situations can really help flesh out their character significantly and be a lotta fun in the process. Don't go around adopting a child on a whim, that player is expecting some commitment on your part to some rp regularly, not just a chest in your house.

    Rp is in a weird way right now. If your looking for rp your best bets are veris or haense if you are hoping to stumble across something.

    We will still have soulstones, if the map has pillars similar to axios, any player that has a need for extensive travel should be able to easily get within 4-5 min fairly easily of their destination. No real need for fts aside from the aforementioned boats and other fts where mc travel is illogical or impossible.

    As an enlightened miner, I don't care if grinding stays or goes, if it needs to stay however, just make the benefits for leveling up faster crafting times, not better weaponry, keep the floor of entry tier gear and the ceiling of end game gear reasonably close.
