Things done right: I like the fact that the applications are difficult if you don't actually do your research and aren't interested in the subject of medieval times. I also like how friendly some of the members can be with getting into the game, finding a place to stay, and simply making you feel accepted into the lotc family. The "Your View" forum is very interesting and makes me feel like we are being somewhat heard. For me, the level of devotion people give to this is really awesome and makes the experience seem more realistic. Things done wrong: I feel like some GM's don't actually do much when they could, and I also think that FM team can't tell when something is serious or not. The lore is interesting to me, but in the mean time, it takes a lot of memorization just to appear comfortable online. Because I'm not always online and don't participate as much, I only noticed these few things, but I really hope that the feedback everyone gives can actually make a difference.

Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.): Sophia was born and raised in a little house on Gainford Road. She enjoyed playing with her neighbors, telling stories about mythical druids, and debating in class. Overall, she was a happy girl with a wide smile who happened to live in a small, yet well-known part of Felson. Her silky short brown hair was complimented by many and her warm brown eyes always sparkled. She and her mother radiated contagious happiness and fulfillment. Of course, that as before Mr. Warnen, her father, left. After her father disappeared, there were the “dark days”. Her mother, Christin, tried hard being a single mother in raising her child. With no explanation to how her husband disappeared, his funeral felt fake and it was all a blur. Sophia grew her hair out. No longer did the smiling and giggling girl smile, much less show her face from under her dull brown hair. Her mother was forced to work multiple jobs at once, mostly jobs that no one else wanted. This brought shame upon their family. When Sophia was 10, her mother decided that she could no longer take care of her growing child. Instead of enduring it, she sent Sophia away to be fostered by Highlanders in The Duchy of Courland . There, she was taken care of until she was 18. Once Sophia was finally an adult, she ran away to find her mother again. She hated the Highlanders -or at least her fosters. They were drunks that liked to bully and beat her. She had to wear long sleeves most every day to cover the marks; she could not tell a soul or she would be punished severely. When Sophia arrived to her old, crumbling house, she was told that her mother had passed at 83 due to the Iblees curse. So Sophia, with tears in her eyes, ran into the nearest forest as it started to pour. She laid on a bed of flowers, the blossoms covering her hair. Sophia slept for 3 nights and days due to her nonstop travelling until she awoke to find her boring brown hair the colors of the rainbow. Inspired, she continued to dye her hair until the brown couldn’t be seen and would never resurface the same way again. While it may not have been the smartest decision, Sophia decided to return to her foster family and collect the rest of her things; She was preparing for an adventure. She loves a challenge and has a habit of cracking her knuckles when she lies. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?): My character’s goal is to adventure as much as she can; help others along their journeys; and live her life to the fullest (start a family, have a stable career, the norm) Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?): I would say that one of her talents is being extremely cheerful in what could be the worst of times. Some other talents of hers are baking and cutting down trees. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?): She is deeply afraid of swords and Dark Elves. Her friends and animals are her weakness if they are threatened in anyway. Also, she is her own worst enemy if she fails at any task -she will be miserable and seldom do anything productive and correct for the next few days after her mistake(s).
