  6. * - Tell me about your character. What race are they? What is their in-character job? What professions do you have on that persona? Sophia Novokain, Human, Aengulic Chef/Legendary Alchemist/Veteran Farmer, Poly-Business Woman. * - Why did you choose the professions you chose? What made you pick it over all the rest, even those who don't have a ton of players already working on them? Do your professions match your character's roleplay/in-character profession? Character Development lead to those three. * - How many minas do you have on that persona? On all your personas? How many minas do you gain in a week? N.A. * - What do you spend your money on? What do you save up for? What's something you want to buy but don't have enough for? Ingredients, random things, usually large minae investments into charters, new business, etc. * - How often do you trade items for minas? If you're a crafter, approximately how many crafts do you sell? Once - twice per week, in very bulky amounts, random items. * - Have you ever seen a nexus item (read: non RP) that you've gone "That's a pretty good item. I'm going to spend minas to buy it."? If so, what has it been? Not really. All of them are the same "Perfect" crafts now anyways.
  7. Thing is, even with an alchemist's intervention, it's going to be pretty hard to get other races to RP in their underwater cities. And this will probably just be another Kha.
  8. I'd just like to point out: if you add up all the time I spent actually doing things for getting chef to aengulic you'd end up with just under 3 1/2 hours. So. Yeah. And @Medvekomahas a point: It's not like 4/5 chef's I ever meet claim that they can bake a near perfect pie or cook near perfect cut of meat, while being an apprentice chef or something. It's just plain lazy tbh
  9. Sophia wonders if perhaps Sylv intends too visit for Elven tea.
  10. *Questions how one of the greatest smith's in axios could only make a 14% dmg axe, but whatever.*
  11. Arctic Mists Description and effects: A light blue, loose liquid concoction, created from water and air elements. It disperses rapidly, in the form of a mist, usually coating any surfaces around it. The stable form is normally chilled, and stored within mildly chilled conditions only. It reacts only from motion, as it requires the elements to not thoroughly mix prior to the usage. It can be activated by shaking, throwing, or any other rapid motion. Thus, in creation, the alchemist must be very careful, as to not overly mix, move or spill the liquid; which activates the reaction in it. It has three forms: minor, lesser and greater. As a minor form, it does not retain it’s cold temperature for long, thus making the weakest form of it useless in bright sunlight, and warm environments. The lesser form is slightly more potent, therefore usually being the most used. It is still rather simple to make, simply by slowly inserting certain air elements into the water element-based cocktail, with little to no movement past that. Usually shaken, but can be started in other ways, it will release a chilled mist, quickly cooling off anything around the emission point of it. It can be useful for: hot climates, fevers, stopping small fires, etc. The greater version, called by its creator, “Arctic Mists”, is a dangerously potent creation. This can reach temperatures far below the point of freezing. In creation, the alchemist must wear thick insulation around every exposed part of their body that they can, as even the smallest of flinches, can activate the reaction. Any contact with skin close to the initial emission of the mist, will most likely provide similar symptoms to deep, entering tissue level, Frostbite. The mist itself, will disperse viraly, without any control, in every direction around the initial reaction, extending all around it. Steel would turn brittle, air crispening, skin numbing and even breaking if close enough, water almost instantly freezing, exposed blood might also. The mist would retain it’s viral effects for almost 15 seconds, before usually just dissipating and quickly; it could have less time in operation, if the area is within reach of direct sun, or any harsh heat source. As a note, this does not freeze through clothes. Meaning, if someone is wearing anything thicker than linens, it will probably feel a little cold; not remotely close to freezing. This potion must be kept within soft, padded, insulated casing such as thick furs or wool, and normally stored inside of rather thick glass. Recipe: Minor Base: Water 1 Symbols of Water (Ice) 2 Symbols of Air (Speed, Flight) Lesser Base: Distilled water 2 Symbols of Water (Ice, Freezing) 2 Symbols of Air (Speed, Flight) Greater Base: Aqua vitae 4 Symbols of Water (Life, Ice, Freezing) 3 Symbols of Air (Speed, Flight, Lightweight) Author: CloudsInSpace LM Approval Required: Yes/No

  13. Out-Of-Character Information Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication! What’s your Minecraft account name?: CloudsInSpace How old are you?: 17 What timezone are you in?: EST Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Under general, OOCly lying. I have found in previous servers this sort of activity inadvertently makes players act hostile to each other, and just makes the whole experience irritating and less enjoyable. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): Nothing at all. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Roleplay servers list. Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): None from this server. Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once): Yes. Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial of your application! What is roleplaying?: Too play the role of a character; play too his beliefs, interests, morals, traits, skills and handicaps. What is metagaming?: Using out of character information in character, i.e. Someone tells you specific plans of a battle in teamspeak, and speaking of those in character. What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Playing out unreasonable actions that don't permit others to respond to your actions., i.e. picking up Joe and tossing him 10 feet into the air. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Sophia Rosewood Character’s sex: (male or female?) Female Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.) Highland Human Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 23 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) The outskirts of Riga, surrounded in fields of pure gold, a damaged wooden estate stands strong. The Highlandish family of Rosewood resides in this cabin; a farming family for the most part, not accustomed to the capitols practices and fashions. Sophia was the second daughter of Holden and Emily Rosewood, born in 1551. The Rosewoods were of lowborn status a life of working fields, cooking, paying taxes and drinking. Sophia since birth was taught how to work the fields, being the sweaty work it is she developed quite a knack for sweaty work. Upon the age of eleven the girl was already bringing the bushels of wheat back to the capitol during tax collections. Not that she was exactly the best at counting it, which got her family in trouble numerous times. The lack of formal education in things such as linguistics and manors proved rather detrimental for her when she went on errands. But a life on fields did make her a very loyal, focused worker. At the age of 16, the surplus began. House Colborn began to purchase the Rosewoods crop as well as that of their neighbors. Money was a new thing to the family, seeing as they had little knowledge of what to do with it, it was mainly spent on liquor and things of such nature. Not that Sophia cared much, so she invested her share in something much nicer. A drealond necklace, that was her savings over the last 16 years for the most part but she didn't care. A necklace of such beauty was to her, it meant more than any coins. Years the cold started, crops were withering by the thousands. She in desperation sold the necklace to feed her family. Unable to keep her family fed for much longer, she gave what remains of her money to the nearest traders. They agreed to take her and her sister to oren, that being their final destination. The trip was long and cold, but she did get to see many places, Carrenhall and the ruins of Aesterwald. When she arrived in Oren, she set out with her sister to find work. Olena, her sister, found work to serve as a assistant to the stablemaster. Sophia was also employed, by a very generous, old farmer. She served him faithfully, until he died at the age of 86. Sophia, being the only other person to share in his tiny estate, continued to stay there. Now 23 years old, she continues to save money to hopefully, one day, bring her family to her and live together again. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Sophia loves dancing, hearing orchestral music in the farming regions has made her addicted to it. In the taverns, she'd watch some men and women dance wonderfully, and loves to follow their steps. She is a extremely hard working person, and is hard to Discourage. Family means everything too her, she loves her sister no matter how much they fight. She hates cities, and crowds in general. Shes used to living isolated. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) She has very low ambitions. She simply wishes to bring her family to Oren. She wants to marry, and have 2 children as well. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) The feilds, really. Dancing and singing to some extent, and shes great with people. Shes kind, helpful and generally easy to talk too. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Manors more than anything. She has no knowledge of them as she never lived in manored places. She is also uneducated in general, so her tounge is rather, bold and unfasioned. And fashion in general, she has no idea how to be a 'lady'. She doesn't know what it means to be a lady. Respect for her, isn't based on money or social status, it is about non material things. Things like kindness, having friends and being likable means more to her than riches. Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Thin, dirty blonde hair without much design too it, messy and full of dust and dirt. She is a well rounded girl, about 5'6", 145 lbs or so. She has small scars on her knees from falling as a child, freckles on her face and a solid tangy tan. She is unbathed, and wears unfashionable brown clothing that protects from the sun. Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.) I couldn't upload the one i took in game for some reason(Imgur keeps giving me errors?), so i hope gyazo works. https://gyazo.com/723459e71de73cc09be8300492621030
