Do you want an honest opinion from someone who attempted to study an art major in college?

An issue with art nowadays is people ask "How's it look? Thoughts?" but the moment any honest and valid critique is given the artist flips out and refuses to take it at face value. It's actually bad because there's no chance to learn and improve.

IE, "It looks nice! Let's stick it on the fridge! Here's a golden sticker!". Patronization without realizing it.

Edit: Sorry if I sound rude, it's not "bad" but it's not "good" either.
