Unwillingly

The experience I've had in Aevos is similar to that which I faced in Almaris. Essentially, you have to throw spaghetti at a wall and see which noodles stick. Oftentimes, my best RP experiences are taken from just wandering into a random town or event and improving based on how my character should act, and building motivation from there. It's how I've gotten into most RP circles I'm still active in.

If it doesn't stick, it isn't meant to be, and you leave. Not every plotline or scheme works out, it's just a matter of trying over and over again until you start having fun.

It is one of the numerous reasons that my activity has dwindled. I’ve found better Roleplay and activity on servers with less then 1/10 of the players lotc gets on both at peak times and during quieter periods. Rp is largely divided on LOTC and I feel like by the time I’ve arrived in an RP hub, I’ve wasted time I could have spent RPing elsewhere without spending 10 minutes running mechanically to somewhere that may or may not have any Roleplay occurring.
