Perhaps because an inferis can not burn itself with it’s own malflame? I don’t think I can trust your word on this, and I definitely don’t support this amendment.

Now that I think about it, I do remember the self-immolation spell where an inferis can cover a portion or the entirety of themselves in malflame depending on how many emotes they channel. Furthermore, it was explained to me that the malflame from one inferis can burn another inferis, but they can’t burn themselves.

Then how do some Inferis passively drip with malflame and have it running through them aesthetically? An inferis burning itself with it’s own malflame is one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard. It can’t consume it’s own soul, unless I am incorrect in that too.

I’m not going to assume that. There’s no reason why the monks would bring infernal creatures who’ve been to ebreitaes and back to life when they die, and even if that is the case it needs to be written and clarified by -facepalm- they currently reform on their own.

Unless otherwise stated, assume it is normal revival.

Moderation has always avoided the topic of “You are old it is time to die now.” It is one of the things that just happens. If a person dies from old age, then they die. If they don’t, they don’t.

@DunstanI’m not sure if you meant to the leave the areas in parenthesis the way they are, or if you meant to add an actual amount of time. In the redlines for summoning beasts, is it 2 beasts per naztherak present, or simply 2 beasts in total? Beyond those couple things, I think this piece is a fantastic work of art.

An event character like this already exists in LoTC. While this may seem like a good idea, it is already being used. Besides, you’d need permission from the ET Director and the LT to go through with this. I suggest making an ET application if you wanna get involved in events like this. While I disagree with many of the points on this post, I would support 2 weeks = 1 year. If it were too slow, life and meeting new characters would get bland, for you would always run into the same people. My above point. You have a life. Good for you. It is probably better than spending time in this magnet of negativity. Refer to my first point. Hi. I do. You are not limited to your character staying a plain human. And even so, elderly rp can be great narrative wise. Furthermore, if you get pulled into pvp and kick someone’s butt, your 112 year old character can say he’s still kicking, pardon the pun.

We plan to make additions to this lore. This is just the base needed for those additions. ?

One can not ever predict the future. Tomorrow, everyone may end up leaning towards the thought that cannonism is bad and it will die, or it may not. None truly know. And as stated in the lore, images of the Gorundyr may be sent into the descendant’s dreams. They don’t have to learn it from other descendants. So if you are done trying to find a loophole in the lore, then thank you for your input and have a nice day.

Not once have I stated this post is a culture. I think you are misunderstanding it. Gorundyr is a religion and a culture. This post states the truth about the Gorundyr’s origins while this post: is culture and is only how the Goundyr perceive their religion. Again, this was not written for a small group of people on the server, but rather for the entire server population. Anyone can participate.

Indeed, this is not cultural lore. This is religious lore. Yes, a new deity is added through this lore post (should it get approved). If you are basing your comments upon the fact that you think it is unfair that new religion lore is being created while cannonism has not received many additions (if any at all) lately, then write some yourself. I’m sure if you put enough depth and thought into it while staying with the canon lore bounds, then it will have no issue in getting accepted. Upon you last comment though, it is just another religion that anyone can participate in. And yes, it is added for rp purposes. Why else would we write lore for an rp server?

This lore follows the path that the Creator and Gorund are the same entity, just by a different name; and it is connected back to the soul stream (of course) to make sure it fits in with the current cannon lore. Your comment on how it is race locked is like stating that cannonism is only for humans when i’ve seen cannonist orcs and elves. Anyone can get involved in the Gorundyr. It is not meant for just a specific set of players. It is meant for all players.

Worked very hard and very long on this lore with the others. It has extreme depth and allows for great expansion as well as narrative role-play development within the world. We hope to bring a bit of newer rp narrative to the players of LoTC.
