^^ I can attest that this is a great group of people with a really fun RP culture, 10/10 would recommend I help lead Oren & could show you around there if you did want to give that a shot, although it’s a much larger community and I know that can be extremely daunting for a lot of people.

"You know, we may be at war and they may try to have me killed, however," Empress Anastasya held up the Haeseni Nikirala event flyer that somehow made its way into her office within the palace of Aster Hall, "At least they know how to celebrate the season well. I hope all the Haeseni enjoy this event their queen has arranged." If it had been another time, perhaps another year, Anastasya would've attended herself.

As Anastasya rushed through the city in an attempt to find more medics for the injured, thereafter running into the clinic with one trailing behind, she heard Ileana say, "Overthrow the Anathemae and there will be no more need of this." The young man of no older than sixteen, who had his tongue removed, had been receiving treatment in the other room at the assistance of Joseph d'Azor as Anastasya entered the clinic. Anastasya's eyes widened upon hearing this from the woman, amidst all of the chaos, whilst she stood in the level below. These were the last words she had expected to hear from a priestess, as an attempt to insight political discontent and further chaos. This was no member of the Church she used to look up to as a child, the people that she idolized as being the most holy and good in the world. "I pray for you," Anastasya shouted after her. "As I pray for any person who attempts to enact violence and chaos and claims it is in the name of God." After, Anastasya made her way through the streets and into the Church, knelt between the pews with hands clasped over a Lorraine cross, where she prayed, and prayed, and prayed. Perhaps the woman had good intentions seeing as she had been stained with blood (of whom she did not know), or perhaps none at all, yet she prayed nonetheless.

Frantically had Anastasya been approached by Joseph d'Azor and the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, who relayed the news swiftly to her. "They forced an old man to sign a document against his own people amidst a truce? This is unlike the Haeseni people," Empress Anastasya muttered to the two of them.

As the men of the ISA poured in with news of their victory, the Empress had been quietly seated at the head of a table where the nobles of the imperial court mingled amongst one another. With pride for her people's win, she led them and the rest of the congregation into the throne room. Yet seeing the man after their exchanged words, knelt before her, it had then come to her realization that he too easily could have been one of her own men - in a different land, in a different situation. Anastasya made certain the death was quick, yet a spectacle as he had requested. Although they had been on opposite sides of this war, her respect for him remained as he stood strong until his final breath. "May he rest in peace now," said she as she left the throne room thereafter.

To go off of what @GMRO said, please send me a DM and I can help you find something in Providence that will keep you away from the conflict. I know for a new player this can be pretty scary to see a war and a lot of OOC hate (because wars unfortunately always seem to turn out this way and become so toxic) but know that all these communities will be okay at the end of the day. Taking a break is definitely a smart decision to give yourself some time to breath. These sorts of things can get so stressful and you have to take care of yourself first and foremost. If you need to VC, or anything at all, do not hesitate to reach out whatsoever. Always here for you, you've been an amazing addition to our community and I really do hope you stick around - but choose what is best for you at the end of the day. o7

An old Haeseni queen looked down upon the news with a smile from the seven skies. For she had remembered watching the valiant Barclays defend the nation as one of the strongest families in Hanseti-Ruska as they rose the ranks through diligence and valor. “So hard work does truly pay off, doesn’t it?” Queen Maya remarked as she drank a bottle of Carrion, looking off to the young, first Lady Palatine who she had grown fond off amidst her days in the seven skies, Marcella Barclay.
