Toxic Some people just want to be internal victims. Until even the most minor thing becomes bullying, toxic other buzzword. For them harassment campaigns are justified because you disagreed with them and therefore are toxic, a bully other buzzword. They put themselves so much into that role, that unfavorable rp interactions can result in a mental breakdown, crying.

If you couldnt do your niche RP in Haelun'or since you joined I recommend finding another community. Unless you want to do forum roleplay. Conflict dosent happen 24/7 so it seems the niche people are just inactive. It really isnt. It would even be good since it gives alot of interesting roleplay.. If one side didnt choose to ignore the other. It also gives alot of good character narratives. For how it went now I'd say it was only bad for people on your side. Because you choose to ignore their roleplay. This is the mindset why your situation escalated. This is a roleplay server. There are other people who roleplay something you dont like. If you choose to ignore their roleplay and just continue like nothing has happened, they will escalate too. You coming back to Haelun'or after you got killed there several times is also good example. Should have just moved on and taken the L. You cant always win and this whole rp situation could have been avoided if your sided decided to engage in rp with the other side and came to an understanding / deal. By not ignoring the other part of the community, instead work something out with them. Ignoring something to avoid conflict also isnt healthy. Not really and drama is part of roleplay. Dont let everything go to your heart. Not other peeps, you too. When you came back to haelunor several times after being killed and telling people to "cope and seethe" after they explain to you, why you got killed is not something the other people have to fix. I also recommend you take a break from lotc if this really gets this hard to you. Or join another community like elysium or another multiracial settlement

This is without a doubt a the dumbest rp solution. Painting one side as completely incompetent to oppose to small militias when during the conflict there wasnt even a small group that fought back. If my group got this statement, after the war cooldown I would comeback and conquer the tile out of spite. There is a lot of pent up aggression in the attacker group because their rp got ignored during the conflict and now with admin approval. Ignoring others roleplay should never be rewarded. This will not resolve this conflict and will further lead to more ooc hate. When I get bandited in the future can I just ignore it and staff will give 'em their inventory too?

You made the topic of the video obsolete when you started talking about hate-speech and harassment (Pedos also hide behind rules like these). Furthermore hitting so hard on Joel didn't make it any better. You could also have just banned the guy if you cared so much. But you didn't and now blaming the others for "Needing more evidence" is a dumb reason. But I agree that banning pedos should happen faster. If you send a screen that shows erp/grooming it should be a perma ban without appeal. Also remember a guy being banned for outing a known pedo on the lotc discord. Also want to add that its not only girls that can get groomed. Saying a boy would look pretty as a girl is also grooming. Also boys are less likely to report this. Since it would make them look weak. The fact that grooming and predator behavior is so rampant on lotc is because alot of the players here are using lotc as an escape medium. Maybe they don't have alot of friends, get bullied and so on. This is the perfect breeding ground for grooming. It's very easy to manipulate someone that doesn't have friends since they easily accept fake friendship. Fake positivity doesn't help this either. Seeing a minor post a pic of themselves in a public discord with over 200 members saying they are a "femboy ****" is absurd to me. And people reinforcing this behavior by commenting positive comments is appalling. This is perfect breeding grounds for pedos. Also banning on instinct is a shit solution. When most people here are socially crippled. There should be evidence. This is also very easy to abuse. What can we do to solve this? - Perma ban people when there is evidence. Is someone asks a 14 year old for nudes, ban them. No appealing. - Teach people here that they should not upload selfies or post their social media and there is always someone that doesn't have the best interests for them. Don't use lotc to make real life friends. - Discourage degenerate behavior. Calling themselves sluts, asking for a mistress/slave and so on. - Raise the age requirement to 16. Seeing Lotc is a gory place with alot of character abuse. Also I dont think a 13 year old can put their character and ooc aside, seeing most of them as self inserts - Put Oren and Druids as 18+ To come to an end. Nothing will change.
