Come on, let’s go to norland, where they’ve real taste in liquor and women, besides, the powder from their wigs are givin’ me a scratchy throat.” @hippo

  5. ANDRIK JAN BARUCH EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE Andrik Jan Baruch on the Campaign trail, 370 E.S. The Candidate: Andrik Jan Baruch is a member of the Ducal Family, House Baruch. For the past twelve years, Andrik Jan Baruch has been serving as the Aulic Envoy for the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and he wants to bring his experiences and expertise from his time as a diplomat to the Duma Hall. Andrik has led his office of ambassadors like a well-oiled urguani machine, and knows the ins and outs of the Aulic Council. His experience in Foreign affairs, knowledge of other nation's governments, respect for diversity and the sharing of ideas, and deep appreciation for culture are all aspects and traits he hopes to bring out in the Royal Duma. He also cares deeply for his family, especially his spouse, Petyrina, and his four children. He hopes to bring a fatherly and family touch to the Alderman position, stressing the importance of the family as a whole, even the ones in the worst shape. If Andrik is elected as Alderman, he'll treat his constituents as his extended family, looking out for their best interests and making their safety and standard of living his top priority. Andrik hopes to bring his years of experience and knowledge, as well as his down-to-earth attitude and conservative ideals to truly represent the traditional Haeseni values that we all treasure deeply. Andrik’s Beliefs: As stated above, Andrik hopes to bring his experiences from Aulic Envoy to the Duma Hall. Andrik wishes to bring his leadership qualities and his ability to compromise, as well as traditional core family values to the Royal Duma as he represents the values of the people of Haense as Alderman. Andrik knows the people and the processes to get things done. He knows what’s wrong with the Kingdom and the government, and he’s willing to work for everyone to fix it. From the Ayrian peasant in Valwyck, to the Ducal Family of House Barclay, from the elven refugee to the hardworking shopkeep on mainstreet, Andrik wants to work for all Haeseni, and wishes to represent traditional Haeseni values that make this Kingdom great. Andrik’s Promises: I. Andrik promises to work his hardest to represent traditional Haeseni values. He hopes to embody the Dignity, Determination, Grit, and Hardwork that all Haeseni possess, and to look out for Canonist virtues and law. II. Andrik promises to look out for his constituents like his extended family. He'll work his hardest to make sure all Haeseni are treated fairly, and their safety and standard of living will be his top priority. III. Andrik promises to uphold the Law and Order of the Kingdom, he sees the importance of a firm hand of Justice. IV. Andrik promises to work with other members of the Duma, compromise and cooperation are one of the main components of governing and one he hopes to stress the importance of. V. Andrik promises to champion the rights of Nobility as well. The importance of the peasantry and gentry can not be denied, but the rich history and importance of nobility should be celebrated and defended as we move forward in this new era of progress. Andrik Jan Baruch hopes he has your vote and more importantly, hopes he has you trust to represent your values and desires for the Future of the Kingdom. Vote for experience, Vote for Haeseni values, Vote for Baruch.

  7. Andrik Jan Baruch would sigh as he sat in his office, moments after watching the event unfold. the bells of the Cathedral would ring out, signaling the death of his dear cousin, Isabel. "Rest well Cozaer..." he'd say to himself after signing the lorraine. The distraught Andrik would then ride out to Valwyck to tell his family of the events that had just occurred. Sigmar Joren Baruch alongside her brother, Matyas, would greet his granddaughter as she arrived. "Seems neither o' ye could survive long withou' yer Hauchepader." he'd let out a hearty chuckle. "Oh well, yer hear now, no point on dwellin' on how it happened, ye've done me proud. now c'mon, we've Carrion to drink 'n stories to tell!"
  8. Andrik Jan Baruch would give a satisfied nod reading over the missive, finding his cousin had a taste in foreign women too, albeit his personal taste was more exotic. How he longed for Petyrina to pass so he could find an exotic hyspian or osanoran woman to settle down with and explore the beautiful landscapes of Almaris.
  9. Sigmar Baruch would find his grandson in the seven skies. "wha', ye could niet live withou' me eh?" he'd let out a chuckle. "Well, nie' goin' back now lad, ye were nie' me, but reckon ye did a fine job leadin' the family." He would pat Matyas on the back. "Well, pick up a pint 'n grab a seat, we're sharin' stories o' the olden days." he'd smile, turning back to the bonfire, a crowd was gathered around a man, engrossed in his tale of a war from long ago, the merry group laughed and laughed as time ticked by around them.
  10. A BEAR’S FINAL SLUMBER The Sigil of House Baruch, circa. 313 E.S. The aged Baruch Lord, up in his years, roamed the countryside of Valwyck per his usual routine. Sigmar loved the rolling hills by Lake Voron, and would stroll them frequently, he enjoyed the quietness of the North, and more importantly he enjoyed the solitude it afforded him, away from the bustling city of Karosgrad and the noisy family members he’d grown to tolerate yet still slightly resent. A portrait of Sir Sigmar, circa. 356 E.S. Now almost two decades since his beloved wife Marya had passed, he liked to reminisce on his younger years and his time with her along with his cousins and dear friends, fondly recalling their monthly dinners in Ayr. Terrence, Erich, Joren, Marya, Henrik, Konrad, and Karl; they’d all been long gone by now. Nevertheless, he only looked back with fondness on those days, even the darkest ones, from the War of Two Emperors to Haeseni cultural renaissance. He missed the old days, something he always found ironic considering all the troubles and strife that it was filled with. A portrait of Sir Sigmar, Circa. 287 E.S. Sigmar had accomplished a lot in his life, but he was most proud of his family legacy, something he would never tell them. He was proud of his sons and his grandchildren, the family he had inherited on the verge of its collapse, now a cornerstone of Haeseni nobility and culture. As he neared the end of his stroll, he found a tree, a sturdy oak near the lake that he would lay under for shade against the sweltering heat. There he would close his eyes, dreaming one final time of all that had been, and all that had not. Rest in Peace Sigmar Joren Baruch, HKML 1709-1813 | 262-366 E.S. 21. Father Karl Kortrevich would rise to announce his votes. Brothers of the Mother Church, My votes are the Following: I.) Niet I see no reason to change the canon law. II.) Da the permanence of longstanding Archdiocese like Jorenus is important to Mother church's history and tradition. III.) Niet additional bureaucracy has no place in the Church and will further distance us from Godani. IV.) Niet the relaxation of canonization would only degrade the meaning of the future Saints. V.) Niet this proposition would be dangerous to those within the Church, and could be used as a weapon of partisanship. VI.) Da I support papal briefs. VII.) Niet I see no reason to change the current status quo. IX.) Niet this would compromise the integrity of the Mother Church's judicial institutions and would empower the pontificate, while taking power away from the Church as a whole. XIV.) Da XV.) Da XVII.) Niet
