A young man riding a white, obese yak arrives in the city of Urguan. Once inside, he whistles at the vastness of it all.

"Must have taken Dwarfski many, many moon to be carving stone."

He keeps moving through the streets and quickly becomes lost. Through a set of directions given to him, he finds his way towards the King's chamber.

"Privej, Big-man Kingy Dwarfski. I wish to make speaking with bushy face."

((Its not vassal lords, there are 5 lords of Urguan that are second to the king. They aren't vassals, they are members of the kingdom))

*Dizzy looks towards the strange speaking man and his obese yak and scratches his beard*

"And w'at be et ye wish tu speak wit' tu king about?"

Zlatomir waves toward Dizzy. "Privej big, but not as big-man Dwarfski. You have belly like one hundred year old keg."

Zlatomir begins to ramble on about the qualities of the Dwarf for a couple of minutes.

"Da!" He exclaims out of breath. "I wish to be making speak to Dwarfski king about buying land for small merchant village so good-peasants can work and make putting of food in mouth."

Grand King Wulfgar Grandaxe sits upon his throne, his eyes staring down towards the strange guest and his obese yak. He lightly taps his fingers against the stone before speaking.

"Welcom' tu Kal'Ithrun, lad. Ah assume ye ar' tu 'un wit' requests regardin' t'e acquisition ov land, aye? Since ye ar' 'ere, feel free tu mak' yeself welcom. Weh 'ave ale bein' sold in t'e tavern n' various othah stalls open around t'e citeh. Ah w'ould ask 'owevah t'at ye present befur' t'e Lerds ye reason n' motivation fer requestin' wut ye du'... Zlatomir start to speak to Wulfgar; however, his yak becomes enticed by another young Dwarf. She begins to waddle towards him, going to nip his beard.

"Bad Myshka! Do not make eat of Dwarfski hair while in court!" He reels her in quickly, then turns to Wulfgar. "Da! Will make do what can and follow good-rules of Dwarfski law; though, is against nature to make old-ones, young-ones, and lady-ones to be fighting. How can meet with other Dwarf Lords?"

Zlatomir looks toward the new Dwarf with a smile. "Do not make silent face! Is good time to make talk. We will have drink together later."

Zlatomir pulls out a small map and offers it to any Lords that are present or come in late. "This is idea. Am not interested in making big, empty castle. Am wanting to build small village with hovels and farms. Nice place for peasant peoples to be sleeping and working. Will pay taxes for land, and will help Dwarfski fight. We will make speak on matter, of course. This is just idea in head."

"Big circles are spots where village can be. Must be in good place for dumb-dumb peasants to find."

I talked to Zezimus about this, but my goal oocly is to promote a village where people can rp in relative safety. I also want to promote non-combat rp by creating jobs and having events. There are so many fighters, but not enough peasants. This brings rp to Urguan.))

Zlatomir begins to lambast the strelt.

"If we put in tiny corner, people will not be seeing it and will become empty! Must be within viewing distance of road, at least."

Edit: Going to bed. Will pick this up tomorrow.

Zlatomir never assumed Fimlin Grandaxe was a Lord. He frowns at the tension.

"Eh..." He offers the Dwarf a yak-skin filled with local ale. "Is being good."

Farren frowns slightly, coughing into his hand as he shuffles in his chair.

"Just by looking at this map, it's already clear to me that this is not viable or entirely beneficial for our people. This is mainly to do so with the location plots.  I'll elaborate with some key points:

  • Firstly, neither of the three locations are suitable. One of the primary reasons is that the monks own some of the Lands you've requested.
  • Another is the fact that it would not be beneficial for the inhabitants of Kal'Ithrun to have a town in front of them nearby the road from Cloud Temple. If you ever decided to turn on us, you could attempt to imitate the White Rose, blocking at least of the major paths coming from Cloud Temple. Barring access to our people, similar to what your kind tried during the last war.
  • Trade is another issue, if we're to have any towns they should be behind Kal'Ithrun. When people enter our Lands, they should enter Kal'Ithrun first, not stop by other towns. The Humans made this mistake when they built Salvus, and ended up destroying it. I don't see why we should try to repeat such foolishness. Otherwise we'll be faced with this new town that would leach from us, before eventually devouring us it's host.

So to put it simply, I would disagree with it's creation if they used any of those locations. Although I admit this is partly due to me not trusting the long'un, with the recent incident caused by the Adunians and past ones by other Jarls. It's become apparent that Vassals in my eyes are not beneficial for our people, unless run by a trustworthy dwarf.  Might you consider another location? One a tad more obscure so that it will not impede upon the growth of our Capital?

Maybe yer can take over Barbek or somefin?

Thoughts Me'King an of'er Lords?

((Written in common to make it easier to understand. Even with all the good intentions, a city in front of our Capital is not beneficial to us. It's never has been for the Dwarves or frankly other nations. Leaching roleplay from the Capital. Salvus, outer Kal'Urguan and Vaerhaven are prime examples of this. Ultimately this isn't really in the best interest of a player base trying that's trying to expand and improve in my opinion. As vassals have always kinda leached roleplay from us, like parasites.))
