Vekrus 396 Share Posted November 5, 2013 Posters hang all throughout Anthos in all the major Kingdoms. To whom it may concern, "People of Oren, I write to you on behalf of asking for your opinion and support. It has weighed heavily on my mind for a few years now and I have come to the conclusion that I must not sit by any longer, but instead I must act. It is the stance of House Tarus and for a multitude of reasons that we act to claim the throne. First, during my time walking the roads of Oren I have run into countless people who wish to have a certain sense of freedom and peace back. They have said to my face that they believe this will only happen with a Tarus on the throne. Second, the line of Horen has had its run. They have had many chances to turn Oren in the right direction. The fact of the matter is they have not listened to the voice of the people. They feel that when someone is in power, that person should do whatever they want and only what is in their best interests. Third, House Tarus has a good tract record. Since Ezekiel ruled as King of Renatus, the Kingdom experienced a golden age and thrived. Finally, the reasons to prefer a Tarus as King are simple. With a Tarus King on the throne, there will be no "Empire" of sorts. I plan to have one Grand Kingdom, just as you Dwarves have done. I want a strong council and the people's input on decisions that effect them. The people will be able to be free of all the restrictions that bind creativity and advancement. I believe fully that it is the job of the King to protect and defend the people, not enslave them. I wish for people to once again love the Kingdom they live in, not hate the crown that rules over them. Our rebellion is founded by the wants and desires of the people. If they, at any point in time, decide they do not want House Tarus on the throne I will gladly abdicate the crown to however the people choose. As you can see we are not here for glory or personal gain, but for the people of this great land. Please leave your support in the space below. Freedom from Tyranny!" The poster is stamped with the words, The Royal Rebellion and is left without a signature, as it is intended to be signed by the people.
Cracker 4570 Share Posted November 5, 2013 His Imperial Divinity rolls his eyes as an anxious guard shows him the poster. "And we thought Sophia's rebellion was petty. Vah!" The guard opens his mouth to protest, but the Divine quickly silences him. "Tarus lead weakest reign in modern human history. Renatus fell to the swords of virtually every nation in realm. If not for Godfrey's rescue, Renatus would be dead name and we would be all bearing Black Cross as territory of Hanseti. House has long been of ruin and I cannot see how even greatest of fool would follow this claim."

Drazker 307 Share Posted November 5, 2013 The Lord Marshal of the reformed Royal Herendulian Army stands on the slopes of the northern mountains before several ranks of the Herendulian Armsmen. He addresses them with their mission briefing in a stark manner: "Gentlemen! There is a blight upon our country! The once noble House of Tarus has turned to treason and greed! All forces are to find and arrest one 'Slade Tarus' and any fellow conspirators! Slade Tarus appears to be a younger man, clad in grey and blue clothing. The traitor to the crown wears his hair long with a coronet crowning his head, and has a full beard. Hunt him down. Bring him back alive."
