Furnestock And Silverblade

Gundir Silverblade returns from his travels into the deep wilderness. As he walks into Abresi he is abruptly interrupted by shouts about a rebellion. Gundir, being the inquisitive man he is decided to ask the man about the rebellion and he heard about House Silverblade, his house rebelling in order to claim Furnestock. Gundir was bewildered by what the man claimed his family was doing, his father was dead, he was the heir to Furnestock something must be done he thought. He pondered for a few moments and sought out the emperor. Once he met with the emperor he told him, “Your Imperial Majesty, you’re aware of the situation with House Silverblade, yes? I by law inherited Furnestock from my father when he passed away and wish to give up House Silverblades claim to Furnestock to House Carrion.” Gundir takes a sip of water from his water bottle and awaits the response of the emperor.

Siegmund pats Gundir on the back.

 

"I believe your uncle or some bloodkin of yours, Huron, had made false bloodclaim to your rightful Furnestock. It is some nonsense rebellion of power-thirst. But if you believe our cause is right and you wish to deliver your rightful claim as son of Gideon Silverblade to the crown, I am willing to accept."

 

He produces a document for Gundir to sign with the stamp of House Carrion at the bottom which states that he, as rightful lord of House Silverblade from birth and rightful claimant to Furnestock, surrenders his titles and claim to House Carrion and the Imperial Throne.

Siegmund has his make-shift herald Lorik announce the claim to the public.

 

He notes to Gundir before Gundir leaves. "If you ever wish to rebirth House Silverblade, let me know. I am content with you being its leader, as you have good head to see that good of humanity comes over petty ambitions and self-desires. It is shame your remaining bloodkin do not."

"All of these rebels are upjumped members of offshoot branches of their house's family tree. This is true for Sophia Horen and these savage Silverblade pretenders. Their claims have no precedence over their older relatives. If all human law favored the men with stronger armies over those who have the right given to them by God, then we would all be damned to the Nether. God wished the true sons of Horen to inherit, as with all noble blood lines. Any traitor who claims otherwise is a heretic and a likely disciple of Ibless."

''My faith does not allow me to stay quite, Gundir is nothing but the son of Gideon Silverblade a man that is cursed by the Church, a man that had no true claim to His Grace Uthor Silverblades claim, as Uthor was not of the same branch that Gideon was part of  but Uthor was the brother of Nicolious the first Duke, and Huron is the closest blood tie, ((If am not mistaken the Huron in question, is Onslaughted?))  he then describes Hurons features, if that is not the man we speak of, then the line of Uthor and his brothers has sailed away with the others of our kin, and the ones that claim Furnstock have no true claim as they are of lesser lines of Silverblade and count for nothing, and if what I say is true Furnstock by law goes to the Crown to do as the crown sees fit with it.''
