*In the darkness of the night, a hooded figure walked through New Malinor and heads to a tree. Hammering sounds echo through the forest, but the figure works fast. The elves that hear it, start to wander why one would hammering something in the middle of the night. As some of them left their houses and the guards came to the scene, all that was left, was a large parchment with large nails going through it's corners, securing it to a tree. The parchment reads in bright red ink, that glows in the darkness of the night:*

The Deamon's Contracts

These powerful artifacts are one of a kind, with magic fit for the Deamons themselves.

Many untrustworthy men and women alike travel the lands of Anthos, no trader, lover, leader or thief is safe from treachery. Deals are created that are never intent to be followed, many men create lies to their lovers, and nations break deals when they believe they would get the upper hand. Yet no more do you need to only take the word of them. Create a contract, but not an ordenary one.

The Deamon's contracts are those that will not leave those who sign it without consequence if they do not follow what is written in it. They will not escape the punishment of lying and decieving. The powers used by the Deamons themselves, as they do not look kindly to those who do not follow their promisses. I allow these artifacts to be given to you, for a price.

- Liar's contract - To ever wonder if someone is telling the truth? A Liar's contract will make it so that if the one is lying, the signer will become mute, and not create another lie for some time.

- Timed contract - To those that agree to follow a certain action, or lack of thereafter for a combined amount of time, and decide to break the agreement, will not be met kindly with this artifact. For situations as truces, alliences, merchant supliers.

- Conditional contract - When those that agree to something if an event happens, and then it happens and they turn their back on the agreement. This contract allows another contract to come into effect when the condition is met.

- Trading contracts - Whenever you wish a trade to go smoothly, create a trading contract. Yet, the power of the Deamon's contracts go beyond it, you may even go as far as trading knowledge, emotions, and body parts.

- Promisse contracts - Broken promisses are some of the hardest to believe.

- Life contract - When someone says they will follow you to death, make it worth it.

The prices for these contracts go from 150 minas to over 3000 minas. And to those that believe these contracts are false, try to cut or burn this parchment. Leave another note below this one, or leave a note to the tower in old Malinor.

*Those that would attempt to use a sword or an axe to cut the parchment, would see it not be damaged. Fire would not do a thing as well, and on closer inspection, you would notice that the nails that keep the parchment to the tree, are done through holes previously cut on the paper. The nails are fully into the tree, they can not be removed. Ripping the parchment from the nails is even harder.*

((Pretty much, this parchment was enchanted with contract magic. You can not cut it, or light it on fire. Pretty much this means that you can not remove the parchment. Contract magic is an aproved magic, and my character has been practicing it for months. Enjoy.))

Aberrant walks up, looking them over for a moment before placing a note alongside the poster.

"How much would it cost to buy each, altogether?"

Before tearing down his own note in the same night, he'd place another to adorn where the last one hung.

"I wish to purchase a Liar's Contract, a simple one with the same durability of these papers if possible."

The Dove Druid meanders through the forest town and comes upon the parchment nailed into the tree. She scowls and tugs at one of the nails in an effort to pull it out, not really bothering to read the contents. After her first attempt proved unsuccessful she sighs and places a hand gently against the tree's bark. Her palm, where it rests against the trunk, begins to faintly glow a pale green. Her blue eyes take on the same bight hue.

"My apologies, llir," she murmurs to the tree as she furrows her brow in concentration.

The bark and wood that the nails are embedded in slowly expands into wider holes. The large nails drop easily from the tree one by one and land harmlessly in the grass. As the nails are loosed, the parchment slides away and flutters down to the druid's feet. She moves her glowing hand over each hole in the trunk, and the wounds seal over with fresh bark. After a few minutes of work, the tree seems completely unscathed. The druid nods in satisfaction and pats the trunk once as the glow fades rapidly from her hand and eyes.

When she finishes with the main parchment, she proceeds to remove any other nailed in notes in a like fashion. Then the druid reaches down to pick up the parchment and skims over it. With a disgruntled "Hmph." she tries to rip it down the middle - and fails. After a few more moments of struggling with the parchment, she gives up and tosses it over her shoulder. The parchment lands right-side up in the grass not far from the tree, and the druid disappears once more into the forest.

Briza finds the parchment and sighs, going to nail it into a bench, not living wood. "Better."

Rasha scratches his head slightly, his rather abnormally large gloved hands clasping around his staff as he thinks to himself. He looks around with bright yellow eyes, scribbling a note "This one wishes to discuss a possible business endeavor with you."

The note is signed in neat hand writing "Rasha~"

A note is left at the bottom, it reads

"Could you please explain what happens if someone breaks a promise contract? Or are the terms self-made?"

*Another note in response*

The promisse contract are those where the one that signs makes it so that he will do an action or a lack of action until an arranged time. If the time comes to an end with the action not created, then the one to sign will receive a punishment. THe punishments can be of a terms set in the contract, or left alone. They can affect the mind, the body and even the soul.

Aislinn watches Elorna from a nearby bush, concealed amongst the twigs and leaves. He gasps in horror as the Druid litters on the grass, barely able to contain himself. Upon her departure, he scrambles up to the note, apologizing to the grass who had to suffer with the piece of rubbish in their personal space. He folds the note, placing it in his pack, before striding off.
