Please lower it, I don't care what the poll says, it's over-saturating the economy almost as badly as freedom of enchanting does.

but enchanting removes resources from the economy... so... it kinda works out.

and again, its only slightly above vanilla ratios. would you rather have it below vanilla?

Maybe we just need alchemist to find a way to transmute Iron into Gold. "Nope I'm not even joking Jistuma"

I actually wanted to try and sneak that in somehow but... lore... urgh >->

Why yes I would. Much less.

It would be interesting if each ore type could be adjusted independantly. Not sure how possible that is though. It seems the demand for gold is fine, and emeralds were absorbed quickly with the rise of enchanting. But iron has little use compared to its value making armor.

One Idea I thought would be interesting would be to create enchanted iron bars, that could be used by skillful blacksmiths to repair broken armor. This would lesson the need for more emeralds/diamonds enchanting new armor, and allow Named-Enchanted pieces to be kept while still costing iron.

I remember the old Iron mine near Malinor was beautiful.

Less ore I saw, but less Eye Sore for ore.

Lovely green floors, underground river, and an opening crag in the ceiling showing the outdoors.

Now we have stone, badly drafted shafts & random holes.

With Non-RP 2x1 Tunnels & Staircases dotted all around.

By this point half the mines RPly should have collapsed.

I honestly think the new mining concept is a brilliant change in general, provided that rules regarding mineshaft supports are enforced, maybe GMs or ET poofing around the mineworld collapsing tunnels with people in them that aren't supported.
