There shouldn't be really any clan halls. The aim was for this build is to try and put people in actual housing instead of living in their own clan hall. If Clan halls are to be made then it should only hold the purpose of storage for the clan, and a meeting area.

Agreement on the clan halls. Letting everyone group together in clicks is nice, but it might be nice if we spread around the city a bit. We can RP with everyone, eh? A clan hall should just consist of a meeting hall and a storage. They should look fancy though and disperse them a bit. Place them in unique locations ripe for grabbing.

You guys really need a solid plan, and maybe take into consideration what people are saying in TS, if they dont like the plan make a new one, take people opinions in I mean thats what this thing is for, I think the only person who is, is Knowaman.

I think i have an idea. In order to centralize RP, why not make a plaza with big buildings surrounding a circular opening. These buildings could consist of a church, blacksmithing area, a mall, and possibly the public part of the castle.

 

Sort of like this, i guess, but dwarven:

This plaza could be surrounded by all the buildings necessary. It could have an inn, the church, blacksmiths forges, mall, city hall, guild-building, and so on. Homes could be around the outside of this circular structure. Personally i think this would be good. In the middle you could have a statue of Yemekarr or something.

This is very necessary. Needs to be near the gate, but creative liberties can be taken a bit. Don't make it too big. Salvus's fountain square was a relatively good size.

Also. . .instead of making some big houses, why not make many small, but labyrinthine-ial houses that make the interior feel big? This would save space, and plus, it'd look nice. Big does not necessarily mean better, as I have learned with my building experience. Im comfortable building small builds more than big builds, just because they have so much potential. I also think we need more statues. . .I mean, we're dwarves! Not those crappy azgoth gate midget statues, I mean grand statues like the ones in Erebor from the hobbit, something that makes the place FEEL grand without it actually BEING grand. I think the main goals of this build should be to maximize space efficiency and to make it look nice meanwhile.

Assuming that they stick with the original plan of the city, the houses were suppose to be very small with some houses being slightly bigger and costing more minas. This would give a reason for Dwarves to work more and harder to strive for getting that bigger house.
