The Ethiopian Kingdom

Haile Selassie enjoyed his palace with electricity alot. He could finally use most rooms, and read books regarding the past or future. It was not a suprise that Haile wanted more of this energy, to light up all of  his blessed nation. As 2 mills seemed enough to light basic devices in his own palace, the other three shall spin for his next plan. Oil.

Technoligy

((I forgot the projects I was working on since my existence, so I'll just post all forgotten accomplishments in this post))

The Geography books showed for how many things Oil could be used, and much was still under those abandoned Oil Well's. However, it would take a while to make the oil field fully functional again ((15 pages)). Meanwhile, the Iron mine is fully stable, and the miners stabilize it deeper. With the future oil income, Haile looks what engines should consume this. Several salvage vehicles are already operational with the alcohol fuel, and Haile dedicates this source fully to them.

The heaviest of them all, was the Selassie truck. With salvaged AP cannons, these are highly effective against the primitive tribals with their spears. Having been under construction for months, the Ethiopians found a way how to make this baby functional.

2029651-680387_20130226_006.jpg

8 are currently in existence, but will be expanded once they can use oil instead of alcaholic fuels. However, 4 are currently operative.

However, several previous vehicles came to light when Haile Selassie revealed his current military to the people. And the months of salvage & construction was really fruitful. 2 new and highly mobile vehicles have replaced the caravan exploring of today. Using the framework of old crossing vehicles, the Sandstorm can easily cross over the sands to get to a location quick. The attempts to make a rocket cannon on them failed, and the launcher is now a mere decoration. However, the drivers are armed with the Mehal rifles.

Gen2_SandStorm_ConceptArt.jpg

2 of these are operative, but can easily be made if necessary.

The canal around Ethiopia was complete. However, issues on how to get the water in still remains. Haile considers using them as trenches. On keypoints of the roads to the outskirt mining & farming villages, several 'DP's are made. With salvaged weaponry they watch the road and oversee the coast and villages.

Gen2_Rocket_Site_Portrait.png

Hearing about the radio usage of the New Arab republic & Bahrain, Selassie orders his men to make a Radio van. So that they can catch up radio signals and communicate, while still being mobile. Signals are expected to be weak, but the future could look bright for this project. ((1 pages))

GU_LightCasterVehicle_Portrait.png

With the stone income from the mines, masons turn it into bricks to use for a civil project. Seeing how Addis is the centre of the empire. People would want the city to be safe. The old medieval wall surrounding Addis was proven to be worthy against the tribals. However, what if the others had RPG's?. The miners are told to not hesistate to mine stone with the iron & coal. However, this will slow the Iron & coal income. Stone is now the priority product, especially when they could build this:((3 pages))

Gen2_GLA_Bunker.png

With all this construction and working, several people die due to exhaustion. This hit the Ethiopians hard, seeing how their population seemed to grow. In the upcoming months, the Ethiopian population would remain frozen due the massive births & deaths. But sacrifices have to be made for the security of the Ethiopian empire. (4 pages).

The Children however, remain to be educated and trained. With more books accesable, trade is now a lesser course. However, Geography & Physics are highly importnant. And is strictly necessary to learn.

[bahrain]

Hearing of the massive militarization of Bahrain, Kalifa feels alot safer with such empire behind his back. However, seeing how they took two Fishing ships to sail towards Myanmar & Scotland. Kalifa becomes annoyed by the puppetry of Haile Selassie, he sends a bird demanding control over his own handmade ships. Fishing continues as the island gets small farming land, with the wood from Ethiopia; Bahrain is able to do repairs on their shacks here and there.

[scotland]

The terms of Ethiopia are clear. Ethiopians are allowed to build, settle & found whatever they want. In return the leader of Scotland and its people remain to be the vassal of this land, and can run it almost as before. The Ethiopians also promised to perform education and lend the Scottish arms to defend against the so called 'Cloud' .

Kingdom of Ayutthaya

Second Battle of North Vietnam

King Hiroshashi was relaxing at his Palace office, when General Yashimato of the Second Royal Thai Military Force would walk into his office. Yashimato immediately informs the Young King about the word around the military. The Thai Military were demoralized that they were defeated by such a barbarians and were yearning to fight. and suppress them. The Horrors that the men of the Second Royal Thai Expedition forces faced only spurned the rest of the military to seek out and destroy the force. King Hiroshashi exhales deeply as he hears this, going to excuse himself as he contemplates on a decision. He returns to meet with the General shortly, asking about the expected losses. The General confidently replies that it would be three times the amount lost at the earlier battle. King Hiroshashi contemplates on it again, stressed on the decision visibly, before he gives a firm nod. " I give my blessings for this"

General Yashimato immediately  leaves the Capital with  The Second Royal Thai military force and the Fourth and Fifth Royal  Thai expedition forces , an army of thirty-thousand marching proudly and bearing the flags of Ayutthaya. The Army marches into Laos and then into North Vietnam without trouble, spirits still running high within the ranks. Using information reported by the Thai Army in the First Battle, the General devises another tactic. The Thais armies surrounds and encircles the Barbaric fort from a far distance. They make camp for the night,.As Dawn sets, the men prepare themselves, facing the direction of the Fort, A sound breaks through the air, the soundings of thumping of Bronze drums, the signal for the armies to charge.

A Grand Force of Thirty Thousand Thais, the foot soldiers lightly armed with just a pistol and a dagger, and the officers carrying rifles charge for at the barbaric positions, waving their flags in a show of patriotism, General Yashimato proudly leads his division of men, himself on horseback, as he sees the glorious charge. " Victory will be ours" he exclaims. However, the sounds of sniper shots begin to echo in the battlefield, as Thais begin to fall as they approach into sight of the fort. The sounds of sniper shots are soon replaced by the tutting of machine guns and high-powered rifles, tearing apart the charging thai lines. The Thai Front lines are massacred as they draw near to the fort, hundreds dropping dead before they could even see their enemy.

sINWOd7.jpg

As the lopsided Battle rages on, the tables begin to slowly turn into the favor of the Thais, the officers of the Thai army, equipped with rifles, soon reach into range of the enemy defenders, taking fire and drawing attention, they begin to fire back, The Defenders fall for the ploy, focusing their fire on the shooting men, their positions begin to get overran by Thais. The heavily armored and equipped defenders are undaunted, emerging from their positions to meet the Thais soldiers that are pouring through in close-range, high-powered rifles in hand. They open fire relentlessness, only being stopped after taking dozens of pistol shots or being slaughtered by a sword-wielding Thais. As dusk begins to set, and the sun dropping behind the far horizon, a flag of Ayutthaya is hoisted at the fort. General Yashimato looks about at the battlefield from his position, a grim expression on his face.

[ North Vietnam Occupied, approved by mod]

A battle report was drawn shortly later, 4, 500 Thais confirmed dead, almost 15 times more than the death number of the First battle. However, hundreds of guns,  crates of ammunition and body armour are found in the armories of fort. Hordes of treasures of gold and diamond trinkets are also found, confirming the group to have been marauders.

[Yunnan] The colonists successfully occupies the region similarly to what happened at Laos, local villages welcoming of the Thai kingdom. Farms and settlements envelop the region as flags of Ayutthaya are hoisted throughout.Yunnan Successfully Colonised-Mod approved]

[Edited in] One of the found trains are immediately scrapped for metal, while the two others are sent for lengthy repairs. (( 2 pages))

The Railroads are immediately ordered to be repaired(( 2 pages))

Repairs on the Iron Mine begins(( 3 pages))

Highlands tribe (quick update)

-Ethiopia

King George is happy to hear the Ethiopian proposal, he gives the Ethiopian diplomat his hand and accepts. He promises the diplomat that the Ethiopians can do whatever they want in his land, if they help him in liberating Britannia from "the cloud." He also invites the diplomat to "Glasgow" to a feast to celebrate the agreement. and to explain the status with the cloud, and all know about it.

In honor of his new "overlords" and for the name of civilization, King George renamed his tribe "Kingdom of the Highlands" and changed the flag to a more civilized design.

The Kingdom of Ethiopia

The diplomat goes to Glasgow, but the rest of the Mehal Sefari work on the second shipment of seeds, weapons & coal. They felt diseased in their new lands, and the cloud indeed seemed scary. However, they needed to work.

As the tropical seeds of Ethiopia became planted into the dire grounds, expected is that these strong and survivalist plants will take over the broken eco system and bring bountyful harvests. Meanwhile, the Mehal Sefari work on a command centre to control their new land with a centralized goverment. The workers gained are put to use to cut wood and to craft a fortification of wood. Meanwhile, the second ship is send back to bring back more agriculture seeds, stone and birds to use for delivery. Also, books are prepared to be send to educate the Scottish children.

Furtile lands are found west from the dock and centre, the Ethiopian and Scottish workers dig a canal to lead the water from the  nearby lake to these lands for irrigation. Expected is that the first leafs of the trees & plant seeds appear in several months ((2 pages))

Irrigation_canal_digging_Afghanistan.JPG

However, when an exploring team went North to look for similliar mines in the highlands like in Ethiopia. A barbarian ambush happened, killing four Mehal Sefari soldiers. The stone throwers were no match to the volleys though. ((Mod say if I find any mines))

Haile Selassie appoints his Military General Mikhail Obranovic, one of the few paleskins in Ethiopian lands, to the governor of The Kingdom of the Highlands. Many tales go around. Some say he was ascended by Allah, others claim his ancestors where from the old lands far east. Whatever stories there may exist, he had helped Haile to modernize his army and to stop the uprising. He will go to rule the Highlands when the first ship returns.

Josip_Broz_Tito_Biha%C4%87_1942.jpg

Back in Bahrain, the plans to make farming grounds on the island succeeds. With more palm trees & crops growing, fishing seems less importnant. Kalifa wanted to impress Haile Selassie and show how the few but glorious people can also achieve. Their fishing ships are primitive, and Haile often complained about their speed and size. It was time that Ethiopian shut up, and watch.

As his workers turn to work, they follow the painting on how the ship would look like. Multiple sails, extra large with several floors. Viva la Bahrain! ((4 pages))

heelingship.jpg

Back in homeland, Ethiopians lose people to the hard working conditions. However, the Iron , coal & stone are achieved in masses. Fortunatly, the people who do not work that hard, especially in the peaceful farming villages. Start getting cultured and musical. Because of Education and books, the people start to compose their own songs. Some villages even play most of the day just to create an atmosphere when farming. As culture arises, more people go to the mosque in the centre of Addis. Religion & culture slowly becomes a major part in society.

Haile Selassie, practicing his musical abilities with his recently assigned musicians. Composed their first song on their balcony. It was beautiful, and he finally knew how to use his Piano.

The rails are nearly finished, and Haile spares several farmers to attempt to repair the locomotive nearby the renovated coal mines. If the locomotive could not be repaired, it would seem that the railroads would have to be used with minecarts. Expected is that the repairs of the locomotive would take several months ((3 pages))

HORNED MEN OF ICELAND

The time was now. Of the thousands mustered, three hundred got ready to depart. They boarded some of the longships on the beaches and pushed off with their oars. They were less armed than the rest, only taking the primitive, home made weapons. Rather than heading to Norway however, they head straight east, eventually hitting the islands of Svalbard. The many glaciers had all but melted, leaving behind lush forests and fields - ready for colonizing. They will cross the coast of Scotland, where two ships of fifty men - three of them converted Gothi preachers - will veer off south and scan the Norwegian and Swedish coasts, where they will unknowingly meet the Neo-Swedish. The rest will continue to Svalbard and set up a colony on the Cold Coast, with mining and lumber equipment handy.

svalbard2.jpg

The rest bide their time, waiting for the High Gothi to arrive. There, he will be asked to bless the weapons of the tribe before the expedition into foreign lands. The geothermal generators are implemented but are yet to be considered working, and the materials needed for the pipes are not yet found. Meanwhile, the many smiths of the tribe work hard to recreate the AKs in secret, and even try to modify the layout so that they are able to fire the other sorts of ammunition found. A prototype of one of these guns are created, hundreds of metal molds needed to make the perfect circular barrel for the bullets to pass through. From these weapons too, the secret to higher fire rates are discovered, but it will not be until the geothermal generators can power a munitions factory that these weapons can be recreated accurately, if that ever happens.

assault_rifle__type_84__art_84__variants

((remember, the guns made would not look any where near as clean as these ones. They are hand made, and would look less detailed and more rugged, as well as being prone to malfunction. I wont be able to get better weapons modeled off of the found AK47s until I have a weapons factory, which will no doubt be in 10+ pages if the geothermal **** doesnt work))

The Honshu Republic

bdOPhEP.png

The Taiwanese offensive was perhaps not the best in terms of efficiency. Although the midnight attack was initially a surprise, the Taiwanese appeared to have been prepared, having been able to thwart several burnings. As it stood, Honshu forces controlled western Taiwan, the coast of Taiwan with the many Republic outposts, and the oil rig. In the west, small guerrilla movements are observed. Suppression of such movements begin as Honshu forces round up those found guilty, putting them in temporary prisoner camps. Execution would likely only prove to further the guerrilla cause. On the Eastern front, Honshu forces simply wait out the attacks, relying on the Taiwanese's lower munitions capabilities to prove their undoing.

In Australia, a sizable chunk of the Outback is claimed, halving it. The western portion is gifted to to the Indonesians as a sign of good will. Although the Honshu had claimed the land, no word of surrender is heard from the Outback. The claim was simply to assert that a portion of the Outback would be annexed by the Asian powers. Honshu forces continue to wait at the border, firing only when opposing soldiers approach.

-=-

In other news, a Sphere of Influence Treaty is under way between the Honshu, Indonesians, and the Thai. This treaty would hopefully end any further border and colonization disputes.

The Republic of Arminius

The Federation of Southern Germany

With the victory at Munich, which resulted in nearly 2,500 loses, the Republic of Bavaria slowly began to crumble. After small strategic victories in Nuremberg, a  victorious defensive stand in Frankfurt, and Republic troops slowly moving in on the emergency capital of Regensburg, it was only a matter of time for the Republic of Bavaria to surrender. And surrender they did. The Republic of Bavaria surrendered on April 7th, 2054 to the Republic of Arminius. It is then that the Governor declares himself Chancellor of the South German Federation.

81chC0D.jpg

Following the declaration of the South German Federation, a new uniform is to be designed for the standard infantryman in order to appear as a more formidable fighting force. The several textile factories in the Rhineland and now Bavaria get to work, the Federal Government hosting a competition  for who could design the lightest, most efficient uniform.  This is expected to take about four months (2 pages).

While victory is declared in the heartland of the Federation, war still rages in Swiss colonial regions. The Swiss Republic met the South German advance from Zurich just outside Berne where they put up a harsh defense. The 3,500 men are met up against a resistance of nearly 7,000 armed soldiers as well as farmers. Even though they are outnumbered, they certainly are not outgunned. Federal soldiers bunker down, establishing machine gun nests along the front. It is paramount that the soldiers here win the day, otherwise this could mean failure in capturing the Swiss Republic.

The Kingdom of Ethiopia

The mines found are nothing short of destroyed, their entrances caved in long ago. However, there is opportunity here. Two of these mines look like they could be repaired. However, with the large amount of cave-ins that occurred, it would take almost a year (5-6 pages). Because of the wealth of gold formerly in the region, these mines could be predicted to be Gold mines. The fishing ship bound for Myanmar sinks before it can even reach the Arabian Peninsula, the ship clearly not designed for such long travel.

The Horned Men of Iceland

The ship bound for Svalbard faces a peculiar issue, nearly every mile on the way the captain has to maneuver through icebergs and massive sheets of ice. One bad turn could bring the entire ship down. Luckily, no bad turns were made and the ship reaches Svalbard. However, the horrible cold in the north lead to the death of three sailors aboard the ship. Small tremors are felt on the main island of Iceland where the volcano is located.

The Confederacy of Australian Tribes

The Republic of The Outback is outraged, and denies the ultimatum. Instead, they move toward a disgusting path of savagery. Nearly every man and woman over the age of 45 is killed in a massive government cull, and cut up for emergency rations. This leads to widespread rebellion, but also rage. Some blame the Confederacy for bringing this horror upon them. An army of roughly 30,000 savages (mostly armed with spears, tower shields, and small arms) marches toward Melbourne, trying to burn whatever it can in its path.

The Zulu

After the successful battles in Pretoria, several chieftains believe it best to put themselves under the protection of the Zulu, however a few tribes along the west coast of South Africa form a defensive union, not desiring to be apart of the Zulu nation. The rifle found is successfully researched, however it is discovered that it will cost quite a bit of steel and wood for each one. And wood is not something in abundance in the area. A substitute might need to be considered.

THE SECOND BATTLE OF THE RED PLAINS

The army marched slowly, steadily toward the old fort. Music and warhorns filled the air, the proud men ready to avenge those who had perished at the Red Plains. However, about three miles out of the fort, the army found itself in a  thick, forested valley. Several hills looming on either side. The officers stopped, considering the idea of delaying the attack by nearly a month and going around. However, it appeared safe enough, so they trudged onward. Once inside the valley, the original fears of the officers and soldiers came true. Massive rocks rolled down the hills, slamming into the advancing armies. Then, as hundreds of arrows sailed through the air, most on fire. They find their targets, the fires spreading over the uniforms of the soldiers. Then, three huge columns charge down the hill. Each numbering 3,000. They use automatic weapons pillaged off the dead at the last battle, as well as melee weapons. They cut down as many troops as they can with their rifles while charging, then switching to their prefered choice of sword and spear. The outcome seems grim, however not hopeless.

Empire of the Dragon

The Dragon Knights regarded the smaller Honshu force, preparing for anything. As the Dragon Empire's diplomat strode up to the Honshu's diplomat, he said.

"I bring terms from the Dragon Prince himself. They are that if you wish to contiue your colonization you do it elsewhere, farther away from our empire. Besides that, we wish to draft a pact of non aggression, and possibly more if you will it."

The army muster was finely done, numbering 10,000 Dragon Knights, 50,000 Imperial Auxiliaries, and 200,000 militia. The army was led by Su'Zu's sone, the next dragon prince. He was given simple orders, but orders none the less. He was to take this grand host and march north, subjecting or killing any tribes or kingdoms in his way. Besides a smaller army left behind, the host marched north, and the column stretched out for miles. Dragon Knights lead the march, followed up by the bulk of the army. Behind them was the Imperial Gunnery's siege engines and supply wagons, then a rear guard of more Dragon Knights. They reached the northern most Imperial province, and then marched into land that were not theres. Outriders rode ahead of the advance, bringing the Empire's terms. Join or die. [mod needed]

The men from the Sikh confederacy arrived at the Empire's most western border, and the Provincial commander quickly sent them off to Xi'An. There the diplomats were marched into the large and grand Imperial palace, where 8,000 Dragon Knights lined the way to the Imperial Throne. As an act of intimidation and military splendor, the Knights formed an arch with their swords. Su'Zu glares at the diplomats, and states.

"You are safe under my roof, but I ask where you come from and why."

Acknowledging that they needed better arms, more gun manufactories are made, and more advanced modeled guns are given to the workers to build. Mainly shotguns and semi auto's, Su'Zu ordered them to produce as many as physically possible per day.

The Imperial Gunnery school had drafted the beginnings of a deadly siege engine. It was a repeating trebuchet, capable of firing boulders or incense balls at a constant rate. It would fire one, and as it spiraled up another ball would roll in spot, and on it's return stroke it would pick that up and fire, and the process repeats.

The Scavengers Of New England

Dissaray and chaos filled the battlefield as "savages" cut down and shot Scavengers, Mounties, and Handfordians. It seemed as though the bloodshed would always be against them... but the Scavengers had other thoughts. Ebb, their leader, stood among the chaos, filled with rage and thirst for blood and rallied his men and women... they would not fall to these Alaskans!
post-apocalyptic-survivor-image-credit-u

"Let us survive this day! Let us show them how true New Englanders fight!"

The Scavengers quickly formed three squads, dividing their remaining 17,000 troops and splitting apart shooting and slashing with their machetes and knives. One squad pushed through the battle, blowing heads off the tribesman while another circled around on the hillside, raining hell upon the tribesman still in the forest. The third squad moved directly into the chaos, slashing and stabbing, picking up fallen foes and ally's weapons. Quickly the group reformed, having suffered minimum casualties. The "savages" had fallen back into using their sword and spears. The Scavengers laughed with war-lust as the enemies came at them, mowing them down one by one... but soon they would run out of ammo too. They began to use fallen's weapons, picking up spears, guns, crossbows, whatever they could find and began to hack and slash through the battle... hoping to turn the tide with their newfound vigor. Two thousand of them had fallen from the original 17,000 and now they had to make up their losses. They attempted to take positions on the hills and regain a vantage point from the Alaskans who still sat in the hills.

Meanwhile In Maine:

After gathering a workforce The Tip's engineers begin work on a damn in the nearby river so that they may start their hydroelectric project. With nearly 100,000 workers total working on the damn it will still take a long time for The Tip to get electricity. The total process should take about ((5 pages)). 50,000 workers are also dispatched so that work can be made on restoring the Calahan Mine in Brooksville, which is 5 hours south of the Tip. The total restoration will take about ((6 pages)) as a small community of the workers and their families will also need to be built.

Also (Mod Action Required), the Scavenging party in Portland, Maine finds a wrecked cargo ship and begin to search it for anything helpful, some books they would enjoy having are books on making military vehicles, books on military strategy, books on farming, and books on making weapons. Also they would hope to find any guns or any other weapon they can find. Some other things they are searching for is any form of tin, so that once their copper mine is completed they can begin to make bronze.

The Ethiopian Kingdom

With Celtic trebuchets the Mehal Sefari tried to take down the longships at the coast, preparing to shoot volley's if they come any closer. Meanwhile progress is made on the canal in the Scottish region, the ship who would return is heavily damaged. The celts are ordered to make a capable ship to sail these large distances ((1 page))

Meanwhile, the Celts are educated in the command centre. Learned how to fight and geography. The trip North was disseapointing, they found something interesting however. They found a 'lone wolf' in his tent camp in the highlands, speaking a less primitive tongue and carrying a more advanced weapon. It was like the handmade muskets, but this had zooming glass like in Ethiopia!

ThenAndNowOldSnipe.gif

The musket is taken, and the man held prisoner. The zooming glass really helped with higher accuricy. At home they test with cooking sand and look in every book they can find. Expected is that a primitive version will be ready. However, Ethiopian sands and people are required to make the final version. ((6 pages)).

Back in Ethiopia the people find old collapsed mines. However, they see that it is a gold mine due gold dust flying around in the wind. Slow construction on the mines begin. However, the oil wells are the first priority. Instead of one, two are functional now. Progress is slow but steady. With the new oil income, the first Selassie truck can drive.. but it is prepared for shipment to Scotland.

In Ethiopian schools, Geography, Math & Physics are the primary classes. Children are given tasks to re-invent devices of the old. All hope is layed on the smartest children, they have 4 months. ((4 pages)).

(Ignored Mod Actions. Update from Page 18)Pripyat___New_life_by_etwoo.jpg

  New Haven

Growth and Development

Wasting no time, as the storms died off, the encampment of New Haven has progressed to almost a full sized city, claiming most if not all of Pripyat. As the population has grown to nearly 1,200 denizens of the state, over 300 of which are combat trained. With a new assortment of vehicles, mostly broken, they've been sent to be repaired, of which will take approximately a year per vehicle. With the city growing and more lives at stake, the black dry-erase board over the main wall has progressed to "1*", meaning that entrants must state their business before they're permitted within the city.

Expansion(Mod Required Actions)

As the city's plazas become over crowded with denizens, the time has come to expand further into Ukraine's borders. The newest mission is a party of fourteen armed personnel. Their goal is to reach theKiev Perchesk Lavra, and the Kiev Grand Bell Tower. Upon arrival at the Kiev Perchesk Lavra, half of the fourteen men will disband towards the Kiev Grand Bell Tower in hopes of claiming it. The initial goal is to claim both points-of-interest, station themselves within the buildings, and then attempt expansion upon given the order. The trip to the Kiev Perchesk Lavra should take no longer than three hours, and so the crews have been provided with three ration packs per person.

Kiev-Pechersk-Lavra_Aerial-view_5338.jpg

Kievo-Pecherska_Lavra_Belltower.jpg

Technology

With an expansion mission already underway, able engineers have been assigned the task of constructing a fully-functional radio tower, and military pack radios. The primary radio tower should take approximately three years, using the previously found radio system equipment, and it will be situated on the top floor of the Palissya Hotel. Military pack radios will take about a year each, seven currently being set to be built.

Search&Rescue(Mod Required Actions)

After the disappearance of three armed scout-troop members over three years ago, investigation was bound to proceed and has begun. A mission has begun, sending six armed personnel into the tunnels, each armed with modified nail guns. Their goal is to find those who were sent into the metro and retrieve them and their supplies, alive or not. They are weapons free and will fire upon any non-New Haven personnel. Each member of the Search and Rescue crew has been tagged with red bands across their foreheads and right arms as to identify each other. They've been provided with patched Kevlar vests, steel-toe bootsarrow-10x10.png, three have been provided with close-quarter shanks, and one has been provided with a battery-operated Walkie-Talkie. They're to remain together at all times unless in combat.

The Battle of Boreal Forest

The hundreds of Alaskan 'savages' fight furiously in the mountain pass as well, being highly trained in using the sword and spear. From the hills, Alaskan machine gunners mow down any and all men trying to advance up the hill, turning it into something like a meat grinder. The guns blow through the men in the valley, showing no discrimination to the whose side the soldiers were on. Then the secret weapons began to rear their ugly heads. Two modified hummers, as well as a modified tank materialize on the hill, raining death for nearly 30 minutes on the position. They kill indiscriminately. The machine gunners continue to rip apart the armies of the Three Allies, they must be taken out before a further advance.

Nearly three dozen wooden ships are seen off the coast of the largest island of Cuba where Havana is located. As they get closer to the coast. Several cannon shots ring out, slamming into buildings directly on the coast. Small panic breaks out, but nothing that the police and defense forces cannot handle. They order the people to stay calm and be ready to defend Havana with their lives. Another barage topples several buildings, killing almost a dozen.

The Scavengers of New England

The men scavenging Portland find very few books, the one they find is a short essay on the tactics of the Federal Republic of Germany used during the Third World War. They also find a book about basic farming, which contains nothing they don't already know.

New Haven

In the metro, the S&R team finds something horrifying. Bodies, dozens of them. They vary in age, some seem as if they've been there for months, others only days. As the bodies begin to be searched, the party would see a small orange light somewhere further down the metro. The bodies of the scouts were found, their weapons gone. In Kiev, the two locations are secured without much trouble, a few ragtag groups of a dozen or so survivors try to hold them, but are put to rest by the men of New Haven. A larger group rests on the Western side of the city however, this could be a problem.

The Dragon Empire

The first few tribes roll over, but as the party grows closer to North Korea and Manchuria, red banners are visible on abandoned buildings. Ones that resemble the old flag of the People's Republic. Something is mustering in the region, something powerful.

Gothic Tribe of Nuuk

When the Gothi arrived in Iceland, they immediately sought our for their brother who remained behind. It did not take long to find him, with the news of the Gothi preaching spreading rather fast in Iceland's capital. After finding him, they consulted him, and learnt the Icelandic language and of the culture. Using this information, they formulated the best way to approach the conversion, and then head out to put this strategy in place. One Gothi and several of the Gothic sailors took the building supplies they had brought to a central and highly visible location in the city, and began the construction of the shrine to Kesuroth, which will be completed in just over a month. ((1 page))

Another Gothi is temporary pulled from the group by the Icelandic queen herself. When asked to bless the weapons of Iceland, and remove any taint from demons, he is all too happy to oblige, glad that the Icelandic leadership saw the need to protect against such things. He goes through each and every piece of weaponry that the Icelandic military fielded, from guns to their metal boats, performing the ritual of cleansing on each one. After his task is completed, he returns to the city to aid the conversion of the populace.

Meanwhile, a colonisation expedition is prepared, with about 200 men and women being chosen, and 4 Skeids being specially reserved for them. They pack both building supplies for a small port and the tools to create their own supplies once they arrive at the location, which will be where the two islands of Greenland and Iceland are closest. The expedition will be ready to depart in a couple of months. ((1 page))

Yukon Republic

Instead of sending the YPA east, the republic tasked them to link up with the Alaskan army marching through Yukon lands. Nearly 20,000 men, there was a tense moment as the two armies faced off. However, the Yukon diplomats assured the Alaskans the Yukon was here to help conquer the arrogant southern barbaric tribes. Merging with the Alaskan army, the YPA marched with the alaskans, forming brotherhoods and overall companionship on the march.

When the immense battle for the forest took place, the 3,000 Yukon Mountaineers aided the Alaskan's holding the mountain pass. Using their knowledge of terrain, and their timber-wolf snipers, they hid in the tree tops and sniped the allied officers and heavy weapon units pouring through the pass. The 16,000 YPA took part in the massive fight happening in the forest, hitting the allies from the flanks, and bolstering the front. With c17 assault rifles, swathes of allied troops were cut down in every volley, and Yukon pike regiments would make short work of any Neo-Mountie charge.

As the scavengers divided, Mountaineers harrased and engaged the force trying to swing into thw woodland. Sniping officers, and lighting quick attacks halting their advance long enough for Alaskan's to pour into he woods, a ferocious melee ensued. The block that pushed right into the Alaskan force was met by combined Alaskan sword and Yukon pike units, and the deaths on both side were large scale. Utilizing their assault rifles, YPA regiments held the mountains against the scavengers, using Alaskan troops to counter any who got to close.

HORNED MEN OF ICELAND

Trebuchets used to fire at the two longships are noted, while their shots fall weakly around six hundred meters closer to land than the ships are. The men cheer and grin, whistling to the Ethiopians on the machines before flashing their arses and continuing to taunt them. Before the Ethiopians can reload, the nimble ships are completely out of range, and eventually reach the Norwegian coast. If the Africans or their slaves want to sink them, they'd have to learn how to fire a siege weapon first. Eventually they reach the coast of Sweden, where large intact settlements are obviously inhabited. The men grasp their weapons, but ask for harbor and say they come in peace. The preachers also announce that they are Holy Gothis, and wish nothing more than to talk. The men number no more than a hundred, and shouldn't be considered a threat by the Swedes.

On the main ships heading to Svalbard, the freezing sailors are ordered to wear the Winter Clothes packed. Thick animal hides cover them from wind and cold, whilst the three dead sailors are packed in wicker coffins, lit on fire and pushed off in boats. The main force continues however, with the rowing keeping the men and women warm and ultimately, alive. They reach Svalbard shortly after, but do not disembark the ships yet. ((NEED MOD TO TELL ME WHAT I FIND))

Back at home, the miners in the volcano are ordered to retreat after the tremors were heard. Some Gothic followers believe that if they carried on the Gods will be angry with them. Meanwhile, the troops continue to muster. Four thousand men and women line the beaches, as lumberjacks continue to cut wood for more ships. The Greenlandic reinforcements are awaited before the tribe will launch their offensive.

Queen Amelia and her husband start a new project - a huge military vessel for their own troops and guards, as well as them. The vessel is planned to be the biggest sail boat the tribe has ever seen, will be painted white and have a steel reinforced, thick oak hull that a cannon would not be able to get through. Due to the size however, it would require many huge sails, which will be the longest time consumer. It will be lined with weapons, many heavy, high explosive cannons whose ammunition is made from the sulpher mined from the volcano.

Other smaller but still large ships are planned for the future, including a sail boat that can mount medieval or modern day siege weapons.
