_pok_ 1768 Author Share Posted January 20, 2014 *~Mod Post~* The Battle of Boreal Forest As the POC begins to roll behind them. Dozens of Alaskans flee back up the hills of the valley, retreating away from the 1000 men left by the triple alliance. Instead, minimal casualties are lost to the POC. However, casualties are sustained. Almost 320 men are infected with the POC, dying as they retreat up the hill. Machine gunners begin to run low on ammo, firing what's left of their rounds on the 1,000 men left in the valley fighting the other dying men. They leave nearly 19,000 men from the Triple Alliance dead in the valley that day. Most of them being aligned with the Scavengers of New England. The FAA leaves the valley, falling back to the fortress at the Red Plains. They prepare meticulously for the assault on the fortress. They radio for more support from Alaska as well as Yukon. The Battle of The Gulf of Mexico While two ships continue their bombardment, another two begin to head toward the coast. The soldiers onboard ready to land. However, the remaining seven wait. They see the ships coming off the horizon, and open a warning voley. The shots do little however, and the real engagement begins. The Aztec ships put up a strong fight, sinking two of the Cuban ships. The Aztec fleet begins to crumble, all seven ships sustaining massive damage. However, it is soon becomes clear that these ships were nothing but fodder. Another dozen ships materialize from the horizon, making a Beeline for the coast. They begin to land, dropping off Aztec warriors who begin to storm the walls of Havana. The diversion had worked. The Confederacy of Australian Tribes The horror. Oh the humanity. 30,000 men slaughtered in less than a minute. There was no escape. Once word reached the tribes and chieftains of the field of flames, many believed Aaron to be magical. Some sort of dark sorcerer. Most remaining independent tribes of Australia immediately submit, knowing all too well that Aaron's magic could soon be upon them. 5678 260 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Three companies of the 1st Cavalry (360 men) are sent down to the North of Indiana. They would scout out the area, clear it of hostiles should they number less than 700, and escort a team of geographical observers to deem the best area for a new colony. Some 300 settlers are put on board several steam ships. They sail due north, and hope to arrive on the North shores of the Great lakes, where they would establish a colony and begin the foundation of a fort. Magic Mustache 28 Share Posted January 20, 2014 New Haven Horrors Within the Metro: Rescue Mission(Mod Required Actions) Horror strikes the initial crew of fourteen men as they identify the three scouts. Discovering the varying ages and lack of equipment among the rest surrounding the fallen trio, they dispatch a duo to report to the Palissya Hotel, in hopes of receiving instruction on how to proceed. With no concern of Xanthur Touschnik's instructions, the remaining twelve carry onward, adopting a method of concealing themselves within shadows as they cautiously follow down the discharged rails, guiding their group towards the mysterious orange light. Advancement The radio tower has finally been completed and situated atop the Palissya Hotel. The mostly modern-day radio tower is capable of both transmitting and receiving signals and messages from a control panel located on the sixth floor of the hotel. Several vehicles, mostly motor bikes, have also been prepared for use, excluding fuel. While on the topic, a duo from the reserved soldiers within Pripyat have been sent to extract as much fuel from the vehicles within and near New Haven. Beyond New Haven's Grasp(Mod Required Actions) Having received word of the unidentified colony along the western side of Kiev. Attempting to take the diplomatic route initially, a duo from the Kiev Perchesk Lavra and an individual from the Kiev Grand Bell Tower are sent in attempt to make peaceful contact with the group, only the duo from the Kiev Perchesk Lavra armed in uniform modified nail guns, their only special equipment being a single walkie-talkie. Also, upon arrival and the murder of the few ragtag groups, Group A within the Kiev Perchesk Lavra would proceed to search the bodies and buildings themselves in hopes of finding equipment or general supplies. A duo, however, would search specifically for a stewing pot belonging to the deceased. If successful, they would begin the tedious task of directly harvesting livers, pecs, biceps, ham strings, and triceps from their former hosts, cooking them through a slow braise. Group B, within the Kiev Grand Bell Tower, would also proceed to search the bell tower and any victims within it for extra equipment and supplies, before a duo from their cluster would imitate that of their sister group's chefs, one of both of each designated chef owning a cast-iron braising pot, obviously made rather recently. Sovereign_of_Solaris 39 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Brothers Stalingrad (Mod Action Required) Life goes on in the Russian State as Farms and reconstruction of Moscow are well underway. Approximately a mile underground the Russian Aircraft that was discovered in Moscow some time ago is now under heavy guard within the Military Complex codenamed The Alpha Site. The Jet sits in a large maintenance hangar, as Stalingrad's Top Engineers and Scientist begin to carefully disassemble the aircraft, Its Weapons Systems are carefully studied, However their primary objective is to attempt to recreate its Computer Systems into something more usable. As stories and some books mention of these great machines of the past being able to communicate world wide and even send people into space. (Attempting to reverse engineer the Aircrafts computer system, the rest of the aircraft is being greatly studied as well as a blueprint is also attempted to be created for future use.) WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted January 20, 2014 ((Posting on behalf of all three of us. It's been agreed on.)) The Northern Alliance Neo Mounties Hanford Dwellers New England Scavengers It was time. The forces of Alaska and Yukon had taken losses and they were low on supplies and ammo. As they retreat back into their fort, the alliance pushes forward. Salvaging all the weapons and ammunition off of their dead comrades and enemies. The 17000 remaining living members of the alliance split into three as they march north. Five thousand circling around to the west, another six thousand to the east, and the final six thousand in the south. A three pronged attack. THE EASTERN FRONT: Chaos was the goal. Thousands of flaming arrows rain from the sky, down onto the Alaskans and Yukoneers in the Red Plains fort. The objective is to cause panic amongst the ranks, and a distraction, perhaps to drive the soldiers out, perhaps to spread confusion inside. They do not march out to engage just yet. THE WESTERN FRONT: 5500 soldiers take cover in the nearby trees. 500 men come charging forward towards the wall, with a vital role. A dozen men guarded by the surviving New England Car Cavalry carry RPGs, what was salvaged from the Arms Dealers in Kamloops. There is a total of six shots in the RPGs, each shot is aimed directly towards the main gate of the fort. THE SOUTHERN FRONT When or if the gate comes down, the southern front charges forward, 6000 men armed with rifles salvaged from the dead, crossbows and pistols. They lob rudimentarily made Molotov cocktails over the walls, the damage caused by these would be great, but have a chance of going off before being thrown. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Soon all three fronts attack head on, surrounding the fort in attempt to force the grouped-up defenders to focus their efforts in three different places at once. The battle had begun. For the true north strong and free. ((lemme know is anything is unrealistic or needs changing.))
Draeris 3124 Share Posted January 20, 2014 The Ethiopian Offensive Promising it was, getting the unition of tribes on his side. Selassie knew that straight on battle against the Southern savages wouldn't work, and would forever damage his image. At night, negotiations and arms contracts were made to the tribes, arming them with muskets & salvage. They wanted the Zulu gone as much as Selassie did. As their society was uncontrolled and tribal, infiltration was fairly easy. Acquiring certain positions also. The leader of the Zulu was not protected with patrols & vehicles like they had in Ethiopia. They wanted to stage a coup, they even designed a flag for it. Ethiopia wouldn't show his head, but organize this thing in secret. The people participating would think that it would be the tribes, and the tribes would not know that. As the tribes enter the stage with the weaponry, they open fire at the guards surrounding the leader and attempt to kill him ((Mod/Snoop post if it succeeds.)) However, the person expected to be the new leader is being bribed & brainwashed regarding the position the Zulu must be in. Selassie hopes that once the coup is complete, this new leader will rule the Zulu. However, under control of both the unition of tribes & himself. ----- The ship reaches the coast of Serbia, but gets damaged after an escelated conflict. Repairs need to be made. Fortifications & repairs are finished. Pressure on the Ethiopian population slowly decreases, it starts to rise. Traders from Scotland feel diseased. All hope is on these Hazmat suits. The zooming glass reaches Ethiopia, research & reproduction begins ((4 pages)) ((Quick post, ill edit anything necessary after school ))
Magic Mustache 28 Share Posted January 20, 2014 New Haven Siege(Mod Required Actions) The vastly growing community of New Haven has found themselves at a stand point in which they do not wish to remain. Three teams have been made: Group AA, Group BB, and Group C. Group AA has been assigned the task of finding and claiming Ukraine's 1st Armoured armed forces base, stripping it of any valuable weapons, and maintaining that position until further notice from Pripyat. Group BB has been assigned the task of finding and claiming Ukraine's 95th Airmobile armed forces base, stripping it of any valuable weapons, and maintaining that position until further notice from Pripyat. Group C has been assigned the task of finding and claiming Ukraine's 72nd Mechanised armed forces base, stripping it of ALL valuable weaponry at all costs, and then, if possible, destroying the base upon exit. Each group has been provided with uniform modified nail guns, two members of each group have been assigned a military box radio, and all have patched Kevlar vests and helmets. If their assigned mission seems that their success is impossible, they are to retreat to their tactical stations immediately. Group AA would evacuate back to Pripyat. Group BB would split in half, one group evacuating to Pripyat, the opposite group to the Kiev Perchesk Lavra. Group C would split in half, one group evacuating to the Kiev Perchesk Lavra, the opposite group to the Kiev Grand Bell Tower.
Zanderaw 162 Share Posted January 20, 2014 The Republic of Kuanesh Tiny Post As the colonization ships are finally fully repaired after the typhoon, more outposts spring up across the islands of Indonesia. In many places, further contact is made with the Japanese, who are surprisingly easy to work with: the two view each other with more respect than other factions, having by now realized their ancestry. Colonizers press a bit farther south into Australia, and the first steel mills are nearing completion.
-The Doctor- 65 Share Posted January 20, 2014 The Honshu Republic [Really Quick Post] The situation continues to be a stalemate in Taiwan, as both sides try and wait each other out. However, it would be Taiwan's down fall, as waiting would only continue to spend their valuable supplies. Negotiations with the Confederacy and Indonesia are successful, and the outback is split into three, half of which would go to the Confederacy. Rough Map of Australian Landholdings. The Dragon Empire's demands for the Honshu's colonization efforts to stop are declined. Such things would not stand, but further diplomatic talks could be pursued if wished. Talks with the Ayut-thaya Kingdom begin, as the Sphere of Influence Treaty is enacted. Landholdings such as northern Vietnam would hopefully be handed over, in exchange for a price named by the Thai. Draeris 3124 Share Posted January 20, 2014 The Ethiopian Kingdom The colonization in the old lands of Serbia go not as expected. Pushing forward with the Mehal Sefari was promising, the broken streets of flooded Kosovo seemed abandoned. However, as they marched past Phristina they found heavy ressistance from the Serbian military. Immidiatly the soldiers dug trenches around Phristina, dying while doing so. The casualties were heavy. However, the colonials became secure. The remains of Phristina became under Ethiopian hands, but the zones around it remained hot. From the proud 200 Mehal Sefari recruits, only 60 remained. However, besides Civillian casualties enough remained to found a colony. A replacement for Scotland must be made. Several survivors pop up around the watery ruins, and trust the Ethiopians after they are gifted food and a tent. The layer of water on the streets must be removed. Thus, they start adapting the trenches to function as proper canals.. hoping that the water would be less or gone from the streets ((3 pages)) Meanwhile, a diplomat is send to the Serbian people. Carrying gifts and a bottle of Alcohol. He was a paleskin like the Scottish governor, and seemed to know the language what the survivors spoke. Old tales told how the inhabitants of these lands were honorable & proud, and with such mentality he will adapt to be humble & forgiving. The existence of the colony, could depend on this. In homeland the coup organized caused several uprisings in, and against their favour.. Unknown is yet if the leader was killed or not. WIth the Zulu in chaos Selassie mobilizes his homeland division to take an old industrial complex nearby Addis, seemingly inhabited by Tribals. With the oil income he could finally use his vehicles. Ethiopian Attack force: 450 Mehal Sefari 400 Regular 200 Volunteers 5 Selassie trucks --Tactic-- While the volunteers march forward and perform guerilla war on the tribals, the regulars march behind in a more tactic manner. The Mehal Sefari flank the frontline with the Selassie trucks, splitting up into two forces with 1 Sandstorn & 2 Selassie trucks each. One is not fueled and stands merely operative with its cannon on the edge of the industrial terrain, firingg rounds from the western side. The complex seemed quite populated, estimated are around the 300 Tribals. The industrial terrain would have a more functional refinery, some oil wells and gold mines. However, they would not know sure. ((Mod leads Tribals))

sir lusty 15 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Kingdom Of The Highlands -outsiders the men from the outside agree with the terms, and the supplies as loaded on their ships. 10 of the outsiders also slowly begin to take off their hazard suits, the diplomat smiles and takes them. When the deal is done, he brings them towards king George. ((This was mod approved in the skype chat)) -Nation King George receives the hazard suits from the diplomat, he immediately shows them to the researches working on the project. Due to the last years work, they know how to handle them, and how to construct more. King George gives them 6 months to produce 200 suits with the material they where given a year ago. -Nature with the Ethiopians help, lots of plants have been planted in the highlands. They increasing the oxygen level in the Scotland. Also the new canals made help with bringing water to the population in the less civilized parts. The mutation rate of new born children is decreased, to now only 1 out of every 5 children. King George expect the population to increase heavily, with the new "air." -Religion King George also receives word of the Ethiopians spreading this "Celtic Orthodox" religion. He soon receives the details. The most notable changes is that women is given more rights, and cannot be simply dragged away by any man wanting to marry. Also the part which includes less violent outcomes of diplomacy. All in all king George like these new changes and allow the Ethiopians to continue. He does make it clear, that he is not interested in any other religion than the Celtic faith. the new reformed faith, also expect less men to be killed in random brawls. -research all power is put into making these new suits, 200 is expected to be made within 6 months. (3 pages) -Mod request - Scouts (with their new education) looks for how the plant life is doing in southern Scotland, and also reading off the radioactivity level. _pok_ 1768 Author Share Posted January 20, 2014 The Second Siege of The Red Plains Reinforcements would not make it, the nine-thousand men had to hold out themselves. Makeshift artillery fire slams down onto the Northern Alliance troops, devastating their troops Eastern Front. However, before they can attempt to defeat the other fronts, the artillery's heavy ammo runs dry. Fires are stamped out as quickly as possible, however some find their targets in wheat caches as well as gunpowder storage. Large explosions and fires erupt from within. However, fighting continues. The RPG-7s make decent sized holes in the wall, however they are quickly fortified by lines of men, ready to defend the breach. Already, nearly 900 men from the Alaskan/Yukon alliance had died, however the artillery had killed almost 2,000 on the Northern Alliance side. It was clear that this would be a battle that came down to the last man standing.
Splitchris 11 Share Posted January 20, 2014 The New Norwegian Kingdom In the capital, King Olav VI is pleased at the reports from the scavenging teams sent to Trondheim. The area of Troms and the rest of the Nordland region seem to be uninhabited, and the libraries and universities of Trondheim proves a great aid technologically, other than the perfect book on drilling giving, several books detailing WWII tactics of most European nations, a large amount of maps, some world ones, but there is several region specific ones for areas around Trondheim, information on the production of minor medicines like painkillers, but not specifically how they're made, traditional medicines derived from plants and several books detailing boat construction and ship yards, and a history of Swedish musicians are found. Mod action required: Using the knowledge gained from the oil drilling book and tests and such conducted on top of the oil rig, it is concluded that the part in need of repair is not that deep, only about 110 meters of a dive down. A second of the diving bells of steel is loaded onto a ship with two divers who had also been trained on what had been learned from the two failed tries before them and the book on drilling, both of them wearing almost armour-like suits of light metal that was supposed to keep them safe from the pressure deep down there. Fingers are crossed the rig will hopefully be operational soon. Mod action required: Upon looking at one of the world-wide maps recently brought back from Trondheim, King Olav VI decides expansion was needed, to come nearer to the great nations that had once been, and also considering that the population in the city had reached 100,000 and housing was running out. A force of 10,000 men and women, 1,500 of them soldiers armed with HK416 Semi-auto machine guns who's ammunition came from the newly opened armament factory, head out South to Trondheim. The scouts and scavengers in the area sent there previously hadn't reported on any other major tribes and factions to oppose them. The massive group marches protected by the soldiers along what remains of the old Norwegian highway, and as they enter foreign land on the way there, they praise the word of the true King, fair and of the pure bloodline, who had created a prosperous Kingdom in the North ((Need mods to decide if the people join us, most likely would because of no apparent big other factions in the area to defend them, and because the soldiers would exaggerate on how good the Kingdom is, bullshitting and the like to convince people)) The group continues onward to Trondheim and settle in the city, which is relatively intact. Reconstruction begins of the suburban areas and infrastructure, though because of a fair distance from the coast the city is mostly intact and it is estimated not to take long. A separate group is sent to a nearby hydro plant to investigate and see if it is badly damaged or could be repaired for the supplying of electricity to Trondheim ((Mod needed for the state of hydro plant)). A small group also starts making farms outside the city, planting and creating fields.
