The Sun Rises Over New Branches

 Share

Recommended Posts

Malinor’s tree withers, mold and kindling to its kin; the sun will rise over new branches.

And as this new dawn approaches, the Conclave of Malin is brought out from the shadows, a shining beacon to the Mali.

Artimec, Darius, Feanor, Kaun, Lelien, and Resia have lent their aid to this nascent nation. The last High Council members have stepped down or went missing. The Lumi’drim has staged a coup, and defected to the Conclave. The long, slow fall of the High Council of Malinor is finally over, without a single blade drawn. Malinor’s people, I give you all this chance: depart your homes, and leave this city, a relic of the tyranny of bygone ages. The Conclave of Malin awaits you at our white gates. Our blessed branches offer shelter and sustenance; protection and employment; and most of all, progress.

A new nation takes shape; the time of Princes is over! No longer shall the government of the Mali languish, stagnant and indifferent. Never again will we lose our culture to decadence. Now is the time of the Mali and their Conclave to rise to new heights.

The unworthy have spread many rumors of what our Conclave seeks, and I assure you, they are false. This noble Conclave of Malin seeks to unite the Mali, and to build a nation exalted in the name of his people. The first step of progress was completed as Malinor fell, and so we begin the next step: forming a new government. It shall be as follows

The Leader of the Conclave of Malin
The Justiciar of Malin

The Executive of the Conclave

Hand of the Justiciar

The Commander of the Armies

The Steward of Malin

The Tribunal of Malin
The Adjudicator of the Mali’ame

The Adjudicator of the Mali’aheral

The Adjudicator of the Mali’ker

The Adjudicator General

The executive branch is subject to change, but this is the government in a general overview. Through this government change, we feel the cultures of the Mali will be able to thrive, and will enable us to grow closer as a people in the long-term. But we are not complete, there is still much more work to be done, and we must work harder to reach the height of our ambitions.

"Let's see 'ow this one works, aye?"

Kristian stretches as he marches through the Conclave. He lets out a deep breath. All was at peace. And a new job and home to boot! Arbiter von Craw. Nice ring to it. Hopefully, he thought, hopefully the nation would maintain itself. There was no going back to Malinor now. Not after what he and Neci did.

Gil'ead sighs as he buries himself in his bottle of whiskey.

The Bird Druid chuckles. So they're basically the Princedom with a mage at its head, hmm hmmmm. I'll give it a month before it turns into Malinor part two, he thinks to himself as he wanders down the cold, deserted streets of old old malinor.

Khagan, upon meditating upon the peak nearest the Conclave, gains word of the news as his student hearkens to him for the newest lesson. Releasing the creases of his face as his mind sharpened upon details of the revelation, he beckons a student to give Kalameet a greeting and the following notice:

"Pray tell my decades did not go to waste, I have assisted the Mali' whole in their burgeoning military strategem. I've cleansed the Conclave of slavers, orcs, and bandits - Isabella, Artimec, Antian, and a hundred others can bear witness to my helping hand. I need no public recognition, but have it noted that I will continue to be a Guardian of the Mali', free of the restraints of petty chain of commands - to command the Mali' when the need arises to throw off the yoke of highwaymen and the like. That being said, worry not - I do not desire any political positions or the position of whatsoever a Commander - General be called by you. I will merely be a transcending Guardian.

Konrad sits in the bar of the Old New Malinor, he had been draining all he could from the mugs and bottles left behind

In this place his memory returned, and he say in his White and Black.

Looking around he saw ghosts of memories, Titania laughing and drinking with Mali and Men, Dwarves and even a certain Nug sized Goblin.

But those days or merriment when all could enjoy the day and night passed when the next High Prine came... He ruled as a High King and was better fit to join the not so pure high elves than rule a nation that was home to more than elves.

Getting up with a sigh he pulled the parka over his shoulders so it covered the Kreuz on his plate and went to go loot the auction house

"I'm glad I'll never have to wait for a council vote again. Nothing like a good cup of sole leadership for a nation."

Khagan kicks down the door, dressed up as a medieval Abresi guard in mock fashion, asking for the illicit substances to be handed over. After doing his roleplay, he sits down in another seat and slips out his own glass bowl. Concentrating in his hand, he brings forth a shard of flint and a small whetstone to produce the spark necessary to light his shisha-green. Blowing rings of smoke, Khagan relaxes and gives an 'Amen' to Darius's statement. He leans over to ask Darius, "Do the other council-members care to partake in our relaxing methodology?".

((Avoid the spoiler if light-hearted fun is against your immersion and ruins your experience of roleplay servers.))

((Malin was a guy...))

(("Her" and "she" are the pronouns traditionally used to refer to a country in a respectful sense. He meant that the Conclave of Malin is uniting people, not that Malin is uniting people himself, so he used the female pronoun.))
