[Statistics]Public Ban Reports Over The Last Year

Yeah. Harassment BRs have remained largely consistent (at too many, I think) but I noticed that as time went on, the number of petty/mutual idiocy ban reports increased over the course of the year. People don't seem to take as much time trying to work things out before filing a ban report anymore.

WTF is going on with PvP ban reports at the moment?!?!

Q_Q

I'm assuming it's because of how War-filled 2014 has been thus far. I mean, with the huge Dwarf-Human war along with smaller scale wars a lot of BRs came out of that.

Good work getting all of 2013 together~

Somehow I predicted these results...

Clearly this can all be attributed to the problems with the LotC healthcare system.

Thus, the only logical course of action is to sacrifice all Canadians to the Skygods.

That is an interesting question. Not only were their less ban reports, but that is the first spike of publicly posted pugsy ban reports of the year.

Mog leaving I think.

Half the bans are PvP related.

Step 1: Remove all forms of PvP

Step 2: Cut bans in half

Step3: Throw a massive cake party with all the GMs with the time saved.

I can judge that most PvP-related ban reports came from players who lost previously in a PvP fight and did it in spite and anger, due to the fact that only three out of the 13 PvP-related ban reports led to a ban.

I'm not sure what's up with the amount of harassment reports however.

No-RP Kills and Combat logging that get resolved between the two groups in the report before a verdict is reached, an increase in newbie mistakes over the year, and things like that all factor into the PvP related Ban Reports.

Back in Aegis.

Asulon. He started the no-RP killing spree in Alras.

To be accurate, masterfawkes was actually the first pugsier.

In these current graphs, pugsies are not added into the PvP report totals even though a pugsy is no-RP killing on a mass scale. I am going to add those into the PvP related totals, since they are PvP mechanics abuse. Additionally, I'm preparing another type breakdown graph that is just of bans, and then one of bans + warnings since there's been a rise in warnings over the year.

Additionally, we've started looking back at 2011/2012. December 2012 is done and will be added to the graphs, and June 2011 is done with July 2011 currently ongoing. I'll make a post here announcing when the old graphs are updated and new graphs are released.
