The Sillumiran

 

Far too long have the mali’eheral lived in a state of fear for the other nations; a change is required, one that can hopefully allow the mali’thill peace of mind. In response the Sillumiran was created, an order built of mali’aheral that wished to help protect the legacy of the Mali’aheral and the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya itself. However after many a try the order often fell, for many a reason with no exact cause of failure.  

 

The translation of Sillumiran to common tongue represented the purpose of such an order, “Weeping blade”, created to uphold the protection of the mali’aheral through times of war, weakness and threat. Unlike the common military force the Sillumiran do not choose to fight out of greed but to protect themselves from those that do. Any willing member of the Sillumiran would honor their duty by protecting the place of residence of any mali’thill, and enforcing the law’s put in place by those higher within the community.

 

Today we reform this order once again, it’s successfulness will be impossible to judge. Yet, I hope the actions we have been the victim to during our time within Lin’everal will change the minds of neglectant Mali’aheral that live within our walls.

 

Rankings of the Sillumiran

 

Okarir’tir:- The one Mali’aheral that is chosen to lead the Sillumiran,    they have the first and last word on decisions regarding criminal behaviour and war when it comes to the mali’aheral.

 

Tilruir’tir:- Second in command to the Okarir’tir, is granted the power to make decisions regarding the Sillumiran if the Okarir’tir is not present, ill or away.

 

Tilruir’sil:- A slightly higher ranking than the Evarir, they are chosen to command the Evarir along with training new members of the order in order to assist the Okarir’tir.

 

Evarir:- The guardians, the main force of the Sillumir. Chosen to follow the code of the Sillumir and protect the mali’aheral from oncoming threats.

 

Code of the Sillumir

 

-Loyalty to your people and elhaelun'or above all else. They are the treasures that you must protect.

-The law is your creed, and the leaders your masters. Obedience brings order, and through order flowers enlightenment.

-The pure-blooded are harbingers of the pure-minded. Defend all the pure from the barbarity of lesser beasts.

-Scorn those who would detract from the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya. They are the vestiges of regression, and decay.

-From logic springs balance, and from emotion, chaos. Revel in the former, and the latter will crumble.

-Stare into the gaping maw of ignorance, and raise your sword. You are the wall that halts the tide of monsters.

Combat ability: I've previously been a member of the Lumi'drim that served New Malinor. In my time working there I become familiar with sword and accustomed to the cumbersome weight of armour. I was no stranger to battles as fight frequently broke out, more than I would have cared for.                 

 

Reason for joining: Every since my first visit to the Tomb and I saw Artorias guarding the other Mali'thill, I knew I wanted to model myself after him. I wanted to follow in his footsteps and join the Sillumiran, rising the ranks so that I could one day command as he does.

Reason for joining: Anything to progress the mind and the body alike; I wish to reach the pinnacle of perfection, and to serve the Aheral with a sharp blade and even sharper wit. The mind is as strong as the body, though the body is capable of more whence taking directions from the mind.
