So, I recently learned about Ascended being back, and was wondering if I could get links to recruitment pages or how they recruit, lore, etc.

To join the Ascended you have to have priest nicey-von-nicey pants. It's all IC recruitment too.

I tried to join the ascended not too long ago...

They really are the hardest group on the server to join...

You're more likely to get a staff application accepted than to get recruited into the ascended.

Helping the sick, feeding the hungry, just having a generally good nature, etc.

 

You sort of have to design your character around if if you want to get in though as just a couple of acts will likely go unnoticed.

I don't think they're back, just a few players with Ascended characters still play them that's all. As far as I know the Ascended were created to help defeat either the Aegis or Asulon Antag...I forget which exactly, and I heard it's impossible for any new Ascended to be created in Anthos.

I have very limited knowledge of this so I could be wrong, but this is my understanding of it as of writing.
