Please no more Red Clay mountain things. They make my stomach churn. @_@

 

Otherwise, there's some nice as hell geography. Here's my personal favorite spot.

 

 

But yeah, this spot really stuck to me. I hope 4.0 is like this.

Ermagherd it's extremely photogenic me. The fringe has some really nice natural landscapes but all the cobble cubes and block forts that went up overnight kind of ruined it.

I like to think of the fringe as an example to the community before 4.0

 

4.0 is just as high fantasy as the fringe and even more polished however most of it will not be freebuild and will have plots in varying locations. While I was a GM I saw a lot of complaint from the community saying "staff doesn't trust us with freebuild"

 

 

We all want a beautiful map whether we like to admit it or not, The reason you will notice the fringe is not as polished as an actual map is because we always knew it was going to be freebuild and chaos might ensue. So to get it out of your system, to my own belief, and to show the community free building is incredibly difficult to regulate you were given the fringe. 

 

If I could go back before it's release I wish I would have fixed the obsidian mountains. Still not happy that I let that and the clay mountains go unfinished. Nonetheless I suggest trying to self-regulate because I believe getting staff to might be difficult. Allow the staff to prioritize on getting 4.0 done.

I loved it the first day I moved a minecraft foot on it. Something that really says. "Fantasy". Kitten is the one with good voxel skills.
