Zarsies As A Gm?

It's been a few months since I was issued in as a GM, and since then I have been terrified to ask, thinking others would feel I were just trying to inflate an ego, although nonexistent, but after a not-to-named player's confrontation with me I got the  wake up call. What am I doing? How am I doing? Apparently I seem to come up in a varying gauge of pleasant to uptight, and I really don't want that!

 

Sure everyone has their problems, mine more so fit for day-long periods of needing to be forced away from LotC while not in the right mind or stable enough to effectively do my job. So , I ask of you guy, what can I do better? I applied as a GM under the intent of giving back to the community for all of the support and great times I have selfishly taken in without giving back, but this is a way I can.

 

Anyways, post any feedback below. Include anything, examples being:

-Ways to improve

-What I do ineffectively or wrong

-What I do well on or right

-How I do and what I can practice on

Essentially this. You're doing a fine job. Perhaps just loosen up a hair and you'll be the ideal GM. Also RP more! That's my only complaint.

Personally, you're one of my favorite GMs, just as you were one of my favorite ET members too. I've only ever seen the friendly side of you, which, to me, is the most important quality a staff member can have. I've seen you go the extra mile on a few separate occasions as well, which i'm sure is greatly appreciated by players (And i'm still very appreciative for the opportunity to play Kaarnoth ❤). The only feedback I can offer is the same i'd offer to any GM, always remember to take some time out of your busy job every so often for some fun everyday roleplay~

Impromptu banning of firestar and declaring a skirmish a stalemate are both things that don't sit easy with me; in sum heavy GM intervention when GM intervention is not warranted.

 

That's my only impression of you as a GM since I'm not on the server often and don't see much else besides what people show me.
