To those who say some people were meant to remain banned: unban everyone except those special individuals - Duh!

 

The thing is there are those who won't even know they have a chance to get unbanned or write an appeal. Most of the wankers who did bad stuff on purpose, showing they didn't care for the community, indeed give not a single fudge about this server and I bet they're long gone, wanking off elsewhere. It is very simple, really.

Not sure if sarcastic or not but by making an alt he showed contempt for the server rules in bypassing a ban which doesn't sound like he has learned his lesson at all and still has no respect for server rules.

The ones in charge of doing so: the staff, of course. It's not that they can't be bothered to make an appeal, but the fact more than 60% of the people who were banned due to a mistake, or unfairly, or while being fantastic players, have had to give up on trying, or have disappeared from the face of the world because people harassed them or because they were hurt when they got banned, gives the community the responsibility to find them, or do what is being suggested in this thread: unban everyone.

The community is not responsible for the individual. The individual is responsible for the individual. There has been a lot of talk about becoming more mature as a community. If those banned players want to rejoin the community they must prove they are mature and get their **** done, ie an appeal. An appeal is not that hard and not wanting to do it either shows laziness or a lack of shits given. Why spoon feed someone who isn't hungry?

I mean if evidence is brought up then the player that proxies is banned. I wouldn't say thats not caring, it is simply incredibly hard to naturally find these alt accounts. They cant exactly hunt them down. But your point stands, everyone who is banned and wants to play, still plays anyways.

No. If someone regrets what they have done and wishes to rejoin the server they may make a ban appeal.
