The Final Countdown for Elven Nation Leader

202 members have voted

  1. 1. Who shall you vote in as the elven nation leader?

    • Kalenz Uradir of Haelun'or; A High Elf
    • Elorna Avern Lle'hileia of The Druids; A Wood Elf
    • Iluthilnn'ikure Saragon-Ceru'iheiuh (Griffin Whitewolf), Conclavian National; A High Elf

Cyrus, upon reading the ballot would mumble nearly inaudibly to himself "It would appear that my vote comes down to either Ms Elorna or Mr Uradir... Both I know a good friends and both I know to be honest. I however am not sure that Elorna, unlike Kalenz would be able to make difficult decisions quick and decisively, no matter how cold it may seem at the time. I suppose that logically my vote must go out to Mr Uradir."

Upon dropping his vote into the box, Cyrus would mumble "Terribly sorry, Ms Elorna- and good luck Mr Uradir."

Put Siyyl Sezarius on the list, she is the last surviving Frost Elf and the true heir

Faiz looks at the amount of votes casted within the ballet and finds it rather suspicious. . . To keep it all safe, he would suggest to hand the votes directly to the counter themselves. ((Post vote))

((In all honesty, that amount of voters looks suspicious af. Do a vote ballet via posting your vote, such as how the dwarvs do when electing their king.))

Griffin sighs as he watches the votes roll in, far too few finding themselves in his own direction.

With a faint smirk lining his face, he begins to give a little monologue, to both nobody in particular and everybody in their entirety.

"It appears I'm losing the race. This is quite disappointing, if only because I wish for the greater good of the Elven people, not as a collection of small, pathetic hamlets, easily accosted in their state of seclusion, but as a monolith. If united, we will stand strong and stalwart against the forces that seek to return us to the dark times of our past. If divided, we will no longer have the capacity to weather the storm of troubles we always find. Power will be consolidated within the hands of those interested in the advancement of only one section of Elven society, and the others will fall to the wayside.

I respect the wishes of my kinsmen to maintain their cultural identities in the face of integration, but I assure you all that tradition will have its place within any unified Elven nation of my creation, though I will not allow tradition to impede our progress or alienate those whom most direly need the hand of another to pick them up.

After watching the Conclave and the Princedom before it fall to their knees at the sword point of corruption and scandal, I find it necessary to assure the Elven population that I am a man backed purely by my will to serve the people. For most of my admittedly short lifetime I have born arms in the name of the defense of my people. Through thick and thin, I have continued to do so. It is up to you whether you wish to place in power a man who has always served the Elves as a whole, or another fellow who has served in the interest of his or her own guilds or subgroup of people.

Regardless of your choice, I will continue to serve the Elven people, be it as a King to court prosperity herself, or as a lowly guard whose strength lies in the heft of his sword arm. There is no wrong choice in this election, however. Each candidate is qualified enough to fill the position presented. Rather, the issue presenting itself to the voter is which candidate will lead the Elves to a bright and beautiful future. I... am that Elf."

Gwindor Twiele grumbles as he is awoken by a messenger bearing news of the election to his small camp.

[insert some long winded thing about bronze smithing here]

Rather quickly, a small disk of bronze is found at the voting counter, with the words "My vote is for Griffin. -G. Twiele" engraved on it.

Arnorian is pleased with his Half-Elven heritage counting.

Edit: Is no longer pleased with it not counting.

CanadianCraft has his elven character, I think. Joe is also pretty heavily ingrained in general Elven society, to my knowledge, so I'd count his, too.

Even if they didn't vote for me, I suppose.

Heial also players Verden, an elven druid. I think DiscoLiquid and CanadianCraft have elf characters. And the druidic order vote has been removed.

((Both of those are forum organizational accounts and do not represent any particular roleplayable character. Whoever used them to vote is either incredibly stupid or thinks that you are incredibly stupid.))
