Ok i know i sound like a crazy fan, but think about it.

 

Weeping Angel Event.

 

I have not found a more scary thing in existence than a Weeping Angel. You blink and they move faster Than anything, and will move toward you. the more times you blink, the closer they get, you look away they come closer still, till finally they either kill you or throw you through time( which won't happen in lotc unless someone approves of it or something ). 

 

A Weeping Angel Cannot exist as a living being unless you are not looking at them, so whenever they are seen, they become statues.

also Anything that holds the image of a Angel becomes one, so if someone drew a Angel, it will become one.

Also, if you look into the eyes of a Angel, you slowly become one yourself. 

 

So i was thinking this would be a long event, to were maybe it starts with one, and ends with three or four angels,  and in the end, they are somehow either trapped, or made to look at each other, which effectively stops them. now if, we did the trapping, we could make a series event out of this, where if we capture them the first time, they eventually escape and start terrorizing again. untill we trap or kill them again.

 

Just a Minor Idea i had, that i thought would bring excellent terror into lotc.

While its an interesting idea, I don't think it fits in well on the server. We arent a whovian server, and there arent really any things that look like angels on the server that I've seen

Yeah, and we didn't have griffins until a month ago. Wonder how that happened.

Actually, iv seen plenty of things lately that disproves this, such as the wierd Valkyrie dwarf, or the Dark thing during a event we had, had angelic wings though he was a wierd dark being. 

 

As for the rest of you screaming nope xD are just proving my point how awesome and scary this would be if this where to happen.

My point is that angels are a religious things, and we have a limited number of Aeunguls unlike Christianity's seemingly endless supply of angels

 

And the Aengul are only seen as "Angels" by creator worshipers

Just gonna say - I would suggest something more... original. The weeping angels are an iconic badie form Doctor Who - so... Why not make our own, scary iconic villain...?

 

Ad honestly - I can see it ending, with simply dwarfs mining the weeping angels...

 

Likewise - how could an ET accurately depict the angel's ability? Someone could claim to have the ability to not blink - and than someone goes and gets a diamond pick.

 

So - a "No" from me... doesnt sound like a very good idea...
