I was kinda going for an Imperial Guard esque faction, one that will lose TONS of soldiers when faced with superior technology. I didn't know there were so many human factions... :C

Faction (feel free to explain it in further detail if it’s an original idea, or a lesser known faction): Imperium Romanum. A group of humans who came together at first as a cluster of city-states and then into a unified nation.

If so, name it and tell us a bit about it. Terrain, climate, how densely settled it is, etc.: New Roma is a small moon that is the center of a bustling trade route. It is the home to The Imperial Senate, The Third Legion, and the Imperium's peoples. A long river runs through the entirety of the moon, connecting most major trade centers and cities. Throughout the hilly fields of the warm climated moon are many villages, usually on small streams, near farms, or building off the sides of the hills.

Starting military forces (Be reasonable. Large is fine. Massive is a bit ridiculous. Note that you will be able to apply for reinforcements as things progress along.): They are an organized military based on the moon and one that keeps peace in the surrounding space:
