*Walks outside to the crowds of people awaiting the word of their new King*

It disappoints me, it really does. I hope to lead you all one day. I hope you think that I am worthy of that title. I was glad to hear the news of my victory. I did not know the counts of the votes or who voted for me in secret. I hoped my hard work had translated to a good win. However, this is not the case. The votes that were counted seemed to have been miscounted. The votes now have Vorstag leading by one. One vote. Now with that said it was one of the closest elections Urguan has ever seen. However, Vorstag seems to have been up by one. I could still hold on and make us go through a re-vote with the bottom competitor out of the running but, it is dishonorable. That is why, now that I’ve heard this, I have decided to step down from the election. I am an honorable man. So that with true honor in my heart I present to you your new winner.

 

*Points to Vorstag in the crowd*

 

I hope he leads you well. I hope he becomes a proud leader of the dwarves. One that will lead us into greater times ahead. I hope he listens to the people. I hope he looks upon every decision he makes with great care and without letting his pride get in the way. I hope that he never backs down to our enemies. I hope he is the King that Urguan deserves. Long live the King.

 

*Steps back as the crowd chants his last words and with a solemn bow of respect and a salute of his fist to his chest he makes his way from the crowd*

 

​((OOC: Well, that sure was a stressful election. After some careful thought this is the best choice I believe I can make. It is tough for anyone to give up the win, but I am not unfair. I believe everything should be just and that is why I have chosen this path. I hope you guys all handle this with grace and congratulate all candidates for a hard working election and please do not look down upon any of the candidates or those involved with helping the election. Mistakes are mistakes we are only human. ))
