Reshuffling The Roleplay Forums

Sup everyone,

Not too long ago, the GMs and Admins came to a decision regarding the organization of the subforums within the Roleplay forum. To make things simple and allow Nation Leader's to have what they want in their own respective race's forum, we decided that each Nation Leader would be given the choice in a maximum of three subforums to have within their main racial forum. As of this moment, all Nation Leaders have been talked to with the exception of the Orcs', as they apparently do not have a Nation Leader at the moment to talk to. Now that everything is said and done, the roleplay forum will look like this:

  • Character Profiles
  • Human Roleplay
    • The Third Empire of Oren
      • Principality of Raev
    • Imperial Military
  • Elven Roleplay
    • High Elven Roleplay
    • Wood Elven Roleplay
    • Dark Elven Roleplay
  • Dwarven Roleplay
    • Dwarven Clans
    • Holds and Settlements
    • Guilds of Urguan
  • Orcish Roleplay *(May be subject to change in the near future)
    • Orcish Clans
    • Shamans
  • Kharajyr Roleplay
    • Applications
  • Halfling Roleplay

Thus, the following changes were made (color coded for understanding it at a glance):

  • Principality of Raev was added under The Third Empire of Oren under Human Roleplay
  • Imperial Military was added under Human Roleplay
  • Lordship of Adunia will be removed from Human Roleplay
  • Laws and Legislation of Oren will be removed from The Third Empire of Oren under Human Roleplay
  • The Church of the True Faith will be removed from The Third Empire of Oren under Human Roleplay
  • Wood Elven Roleplay was added under Elven Roleplay
  • Dark Elven Roleplay was added under Elven Roleplay
  • Princedom of Fenn will be removed from Elven Roleplay
  • Guilds of Urguan was added under Dwarven Roleplay

All subforums that will be removed are being left where they are for the next week, after which they will be removed. If there are any topics within those subforums that should be moved, contact a Forum Moderator so that they can move them to the appropriate subforum. If topics are remaining in the subforums after a week when they are removed, they will be moved to the Great Library Archive.

Thank you Nation Leaders for cooperating with us, and happy roleplaying everyone :)

Erm, can i make a suggestion for kharajyr sub-forum?
It is to remove the application subforum and add a Kharajyr OOC forum, this will be for skin requests and guides and stuff, and another is Kingdom of Karaktua (this can change if the nation is called anything else) it'll cause a lot of mess between kharajyr ooc questions and guides from serious rp forum posts and stuff?

You're taking away Snelven roleplay that's seperate from the rest of the elves and have their own government and are trying to grow? You added it for them, and not long after you decide to ruin it.

I have a feeling a snelf is going to come here and start raging.

Good job, you just pissed off the Snelven playerbase.

They dont care since you dont have a large playerbase. If it were the human however....

Yes i agree, should not be a player requirement really. The Role-Play forums are for everyone not those that are nation leaders only.

Indeed, hence why the snow elves can use the main Elven forum.

Why not simply give a subtype under elvish roleplay for snow elves?

Because snow elves are irrelevant

Then can we compromise by giving each player town a thread tag? For example [snow Elf] New Snelf law

they're completely different nations rittsy lmao

the snow elves are a completely seperate entity under different rule than the elves

and it'll just cause conflict

Wait, what is the reason for this anyway?

**** WAS PERFECTLY FINE BEFORE RITTSY

why do you ruin what is good

Wait wat don't get rid of Laws and Legislation that keeps everything organized.

^^^

Laws and Legislation is exceptionally important to maintaining judicial clarity in the secular state, and keeps relevant releases by the state uncluttered by the most recent announcement of some lord's tea party or some edgy's death post.

By the same token, the Church of the True Faith forum contains important information, doctrines, and holy works- and the Church is a political state separate from Oren.

It seems as if the staff group implementing the idea of limiting subforums is doing so to please their eyes instead of satisfying the RP needs of the playerbases'. Different races are different sized playerbases, have different national and racial organization, and mandate different accommodations by the forums to best satisfy their players. While Tom has done his best to pick the top 3 subforums we need, this will still eliminate necessary organization and ease of access without accomplishing the goal of clearing the glut of the forums, which I presume to be the intended goal.
