[Ooc] A Proposition For The Dwarf/oren War.

See- I tend to avoid making threads like these because they devolve into petty OOC shots back and forth at one another. Allow me to lay down the reality.

 

Both sides are acting immature, regardless of anything, war is going to spawn OOC hatred because people take this game way too seriously. Thats something we're all just going to have to live with.

 

As with setting something up OOC'ly to attempt to limit the complaints, the attempts by Steven (usmcsoldier) in my stead were apparently promptly shot down by the Dwarven side, namely Kowaman. I would gladly sit down with you Kibbles and speak about terms/set up a war zone like we did with the war back in Anthos when I have some free time.

Dwarves are constantly attempting to provoke Oren, I believe one of the first hostilities started as a result of a failed dwarf ambush in kaldonia. Whether the instigators were a minority or not, the dwarven government failed to address the atttacks and let it escalate out of control. 

 

Not to mention, many humans harbor resentment for dwarves IC due to the numerous aggressive wars they initiated against Oren, as well as many dwarves maintaining a xenophobic nature matching that of radical humans.

This is really a debate best left in character but if Oren can't control every single human player, how can the same be expected of Urguan and the dwarves? No peace was attempted here, a similar situation to what happened when Indago declared war on Oren in Anthos. Again, I'll say a lot of dwarves felt that was wrong, just as they feel Oren was wrong to declare war now.

If the dwarves would stop being whiny and petty then it'd be fine. There's been no ban reports from the Oren side, even though plenty of minor offences have been commited by the dwarves.
