Congratulations and thanks to the tech team for the improvements.  I have definitely noticed them in large battles.  >=D

DDOS'ing isn't considered "Hacking" in the professional world. Most of the time the people doing it are using pre-written software with nice and simple GUI's that they downloaded or bought off the web from unscrupulous sources. The people who write these programs could be considered hackers, the people actually using these programs can be nothing more than kids who downloaded harmful Malware onto their machines, because btw, if you're download DDOS'ing software or any software like that /for free/, chances are you're downloading more than they're letting on.

You know who you are, hope you like your personal details being read by real hackers :p

how the **** does anyone receive 1-2 Distributed Denial of Service attacks in a day.

Who has botnets to waste clawing at one specific Minecraft server? There aren't enough people simply roaming around attempting to take down random Minecraft servers for it to be different people each time, so why do we not take measures to identify the attacker and make the local authorities deal with them...?

Unless you're simply using "DDoS" as a catchall for things like mere Denial of Service attacks, in which I'm sorry for being nitpicky but stop that.

You sure are passionate about your Denial of Service attacks ;)

You are right of course there's a big difference between buying (parts of) botnets and a banned skiddie who downloaded a program, but frankly we don't care. We can afford to use 'catchalls' for the concept because with Tythus' amazing effort we don't have to care about any of them.

Fixed.

Just another note, we'll probably be removing wolves at some point as well or restricting their breeding at least, they cause more lag than they're worth. ^-^

Please don't remove the wolves. Some players need it for roleplay.

It's been abused to hell, people have 30+ wolves causing massive amounts of lag. I would rather have them completely removed at this point.

Thanks for the update, I just hope the server is more accessible for players and less laggy now.

Then restrict how many they can have.

Good, this is some great changes! Now just add some anti hack systems, seriously.

Not sure if it's your department, but can we have a staff update on the whole EULA thing, please? Shift said something about removing donation rewards as a result of it. That wouldn't bother me much, but others have said that it could jeopardize the server's hosting money?

It is a very concerning problem, but we have yet to have a staff meeting or consensus on it. We will most likely inform you guys after such a thing had occurred.
