The Discovery Of The Filter Mask.

Men and woman of tanned skin go about the fringe hanging up posters while wearing an odd looking mask. They would post the posters within any open cities, or outside their gates. The poster reads..

For those that get confused.

Ikur takes the note and begins to read, nodding as he does so with a smidgen of a smile marking his lips. "So the goodness of the Kharadeens shines forth, hm? It is a proud day to be oem Mali of the Crimson-Silver."

An additional note is added on the bottom of the poster...

"P.S. Tippens root can be created by smooshing two saplings of any type together."

"A blessed day indeed for all who walk this plane. Deus Magnus, and Creator bless you, Faiz Kharadeen." says Father Winter, praying to the Creator so that some of Faiz's time in the First Sky might be taken off for this holy act of discovery.

Michael Cervidus, who developed and brought and distributed the masks to the Elves, and the human Theodosius Visconti, glances at the posters with an amused smile.

"I was handing these out and teaching folk to make these a whole day ago! Seems these 'clans' came across one of my designs. Pah, let them take the credit."

Shrugging, he gives the nearest bystander a smile. "It will be a lesson in humility."

The bystander looks to Michael "A lesson in humility? It seems to me you are just jealous because they brought the design outwards into the light for the rest of the realm to use as they please. And.."

The man takes another glance at the poster

"They do not even take credit for its invention, merely are spreading the word out is all. Do not become so envious, and perhaps take a few lessons from these people who were kind enough to allow us to construct these masks without any sort of fee or demand."

The man returns the smile.

As Darion reads the parchment he says "Old news, we've known this for a few weeks already."

Faiz would say to the man if he were near,

"It does not matter whether your greedy organization knew about it or not before the rest of us. If you had any shred of dignity, you would have made a public notice to the people of the fringe who have yet to know about its construction, but yet you and your people probably cower behind thick walls, frightened of the disease. We are all frightened, but that does not mean we should not help one another, especially the innocent. My family worked tirelessly trying to discover its construction because people like you keep important information like this for yourselves. So, let all of you innovators and discoverers continue to shed your tears because you could not have profit out of something that is meant to be free for the people, show the realm your true colors you envious fools."

Ancient Sariants of the Teutonic Order again roll in their graves under Asulon, remembering inventing and giving out TAC masks.
