Things you can not suggest:

  • Removing the walls or leaving the gate open.
  • Being less racist.
  • Being less fabulous.
  • Being less attractive.
  • Removing narcissism from my personality.

make it easier to move between districts the districts are killing your rp and make it really hard for new players to get into the elves

Our 4.0 city design solves this problem. It is going to be, and I am certain of this, the most densely populated city on 4.0 (per block of area) and it has a central square where all RP should meet.

Lose the pointy ears. They make you look like your elves. Embrace your human race. God.

Your racism is fine, but when you enforce it on other elves I see it being a somewhat big problem in the near future.

Most newer players and newer roleplayers cant handle this sort of discrimination oocly, so they need a sort of safe haven to go to where their elves will be 100% impure. They will always start out as impure, because they dont know much about the culture, having created a character with a dubious backstory. Malinor while its governance was weak, provided this 'new player zone' for not just elves, but anyone kind really. Now its 'elves only zone', which is fine. But if you prosecute half-elves, and impure elves, the newer players will have no where to turn to.

The staff have no intention of altering rp of course. But this is from a game design point of view. You'll find most high elves are usually seasoned players, and getting into it may be quite tough for someone who understands nothing.

The wood elves, generic elves and dark elves don't actually get hated on much at all, to be entirely fair and the one or two people who intentionally make impure high elves as starting characters are forgivable losses, in my honest opinion.

Taking the fact the wood, generic and dark elves aren't actually oppressed (I mean, seriously, ask any of them), do you still think that is an issue? I do get your "hard to get into it" comment though. Hopefully in 4.0 the unified square will help us be more open to visitors.

What exactly is this problem you foresee?

If you're referring to intentionally splitting wood and dark elves up... That's something which from the wood and dark elves themselves has only been, allegedly, a good thing. They're still physically connected districts anyway, with no locked gate in between them.

It might seem oppressive, but honestly... I'm inclined to believe its nothing compared to the iron-fist rule of the Conclave.

I have found it very, very nice, actually. About 20x better than Malinor ever was. A few suggestions would be to have a central meeting place for all elves. Separate districts and all are all very good and in fact very nice and comforting, knowing you and your character has somewhere to go to relax, instead of all elves of any particular sub-race a) meeting up ALL in their own respective taverns and inns, over just in their main streets, completely segregated from everyone else and meeting in a place that makes little sense (a.k.a. elves just all meeting in the street at the gate.). Otherwise, love it! Don't change impurity policies, it made the cities what it is now!

High elves are cool beans as usual. I love your racism, narcissism, and your exclusiveness, especially back in Asulon and throughout.

Giving Orcs a high-five before killing them would be nice.

When you're literally worth less than diseased cattle to the high elves, you tend not to get love unfortunately.

I suggest the Mali'aheral, Mali'ker, and the Mali'ame be more awesome then they already are. Other than that Bigger walls and more books.

I partially agree with Firespirit, though I really don't see too much of an issue with the turning away of impure elves. Its true, pretty much everyone's first elf is going to be an impure, really just a politically correct human with pointy ears. Its the same with most first time orcs, or any race that has 'anti-PC' nuances in their culture.

Something the orcs did awhile back was create a little thing called Kamp Momoskaher, basically serving as a concentration camp to whip new or whitewash orcs into proper orcish shape. Maybe something for the elves to do would be to help purify the impure without killing them. Bring them into a small central area like spqurSancus suggested to make and teach them the true Mali way. It might be fun to see Kalenz get increasingly frustrated trying to deal with impures.

Be more inclusive, I have no earthly clue how some of these guards define "purity". You can keep walls and gates closed, but exiling and putting someone on death watch for like poking a woman is the stuff the Conclave did to piss me off, I don't know how being deemed "Impure" is much different in results.

I like Haelun'or RP, admittedly I have given the town **** previously, but it's pretty nice once you get past the guards.

(Not talking about Mikael by the way. I wanted that notoriety.)
