The Search For A Trained Assassin/thief

 Share

Recommended Posts

*Waverly moves through the streets of the human capital, eyeing anyone and everyone for a signal. Nothing. Assassins were everywhere and yet, she had yet to find a single one who would help her with her dilemma. Staring at the sheets in hand, she looks around for any signs of movement in the early hours of the morning. She places a poster here and there, on the back of buildings, crumpled under trees, at the side of the church, certain places the could only assume an assassin must lurk. If someone were to find this poster, whether it be by passing by, by word of mouth or by accident when they blow into your face, it would read:

"To whom it may concern,

I am search of someone who can deal with certain problems that I face. I require someone of great stealth and experience. Such an individual would need to be able to end someone's life, as well as retrieve an item that I so desperately need. If interested, meet near the steps of the Chivay castle at the dead of night and we may discuss this further. It goes without saying that you will be rewarded handsomely.

Yours sincerely.

*The poster ends there, without a signature. Waverly stands some distance from the church, hoping, praying that someone will come to her aid.*

((OOC Note- If interested in this RP, simply reply to the topic and we can discuss a time to RP in game. Please refrain from trolling in your reply and I look forward to RPing with someone of this nature ^.^ Dark.w

Smoke sighs worriedly as he places a response
"They call me Smoke, I will happily listen to your request if you allow me to. I'm an ex-guild assassin who sadly no longer has a guild to call home, I only hope you understand it when I say I have been out of work for some time and I'm not who I used to be. But I promise to do as best as I can with my work and I hope to hear from you soon."

The note is signed with a small sketch of a rose.

A fairly dark skinned man finds the flier of sorts, reading through it, he then sends a reply to wherever he's supposed to. On the piece of paper he's sent back to reply with are words that can be very vaguely read, scribbly and messy, the sender does not practice much on punctuality.

"You don't need to know my name, but I can tell you now that this particular unlucky individual wont live to their old ages if I receive a payment, a name, and a location. I work with others so the payment may be slightly higher than others who take up the job, and I cannot promise you this will be cleanly done, without unnecessary deaths, but what I can assure you, is that it will be done. I usually do not do business like this, but times are hard, and know, that if this is some sort of trick to lure criminals out, I can assure you that the men and women I work with will not take it lightly."

-The letter, or post does not have a signature on it either-

A shady individual looks over the poster and makes haste to tell his boss.
The boss sends back a letter for the individual to send to whereever they're supposed to.

"One of my spies have told me of your need, sadly I cannot legally enter the city due to race which would be the grounds for higher payment as there's an increased risk, however I will come to this meeting. I have spent 30 years more or less leading murderers and ruthless thugs which you don't get to do unless you have certain skills. If this turns out to be trickery there will be dire consequences."

The letter is signed with a black hand.

Upon reading the note a small grimace of laughter reaches his tongue before he slips open a note, and begins to write.

"Noticing your message of, distress I believe that so many even those above are capitulate, though self-insecure about the own well being, that is the case for most assassins... Good job for them though, I am not here to speak for them or about them rather. I am quite interested in what you have placed down to offer. I am Evark Evocress, currently applying command over the Evocress family as I created it. Never the less, I have spent over a thousand years developing different measures. I will not state any more than that. Though my name spreads to which you can find out my deeds from that.

Though I am intrigued to what you will offer as payment. A time to be arranged when you will it I can suffice.

~E~

"

The note is pinned where it is suppose to be placed.

Three individuals happen to read the poster, nodding to each other. Flipping their hoods on, they leave a reply.

"We are willing to fulfill this job, at the price you'd like. We are a small group of assassins and thieves. We are,

what we call ourselves the Seekers. We are highly trained, and are willing to do this at any price you wish.

I hope that you can trust us with this matter.

*A drawing of an eye is here, it's pupils being X's.*

~The Seekers

They pin the parchment, then disappearing into the shadows.
