(Such a silly background for my talking, aha)

 

If you're too lazy to watch a one minute video, here's the gist. 

 

Being on the media team just to voice act is pretty silly, and our team wishes to grab voices from our community to feature in videos. Whether you're simply teaching people or you're acting as a role in a machinima, we'd like to have a few folks on hand to act out many different types of voices (I know you've all got stunning voices ;) )

 

So, head this this link and create an account, and give us your voice below. If you don't like soundcloud, another site with audio is fine.

 

Use one of these monologues (or choose your own, it doesn't need to be any one of these. Just show us your talent!)

 

1. The key to faking out the parents is the clammy hands. It's a good non-specific symptom. A lot of people will tell you that a phony fever is a dead lock, but if you get a nervous mother, you could land in the doctor's office. That's worse than school. What you do is, you fake a stomach cramp, and when you're bent over, moaning and wailing, you lick your palms. It's a little childish and stupid, but then, so is high school.

2. Heehoo! Havin' trouble with the livin'? You tired of havin' your home space violated? Wanna get rid of them pesky livin critters once and for all? Well come on down and see me folks, I'm the afterlife's leading bio-exorcist. Yes siree! So come on down, and I'll tell ya, I'll do anything. I'll scare 'em real bad. Hell, I'll even possess myself! Ow! I got demons runnin' all through me, all through me, come on down and see it. 

3. It's like in the great stories Mr.Frodo, the ones that really matter.Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn't want to know the ending, because after the end you'll be happy.Why can't the world go back to the way it was, when so much mattered than.But in the end it is only a passing thing, shadow , even darkness must pass.A new day will come when the sun comes and shines out the clearer , thoughts are the stories that stay with you that ment something even if you were to small to understand why. But i think Mr.Frodo I do understand, i know now folks, and thoughts , and stories, and people had lots of chances of turning back, but they didn't they kept going, because they were holding on to something. That there's some good in this world and its worth fighting for.

4. There are fixed points through time where things must always stay the way they are. This is not one of them. This is an opportunity. A temporal tipping point. Whatever happens today will change future events. Create its own time line, its own reality. The future pivots around you, here, now. So do good. For humanity, and for Earth

Oh, I'll volunteer. When I'm alone and nobody can hear me. And when its not in the middle of the night. So the cops don't come.

So, you would not be on the media team if you did this? Just as a volunteer?

Essentially, the MT folks will pick and choose from this group of voice actors whenever they wish. Whether you'd officially be MT or not I'm still debating over, and I'll talk to other folks about that.

Voices you prefer doing: More concerned with the character than the voice, I can adapt to most ranges or accents given sufficient preparation for a role.

Disclaimer: This is rather poorly done, as I put very little time into it. In a listen through I noted countless places were I could have better expressed the sentiments of the character or better emphasized certain words or phrases. That all said, it is for a Minecraft server.
