If I were to intentionally cast doubt on someone as a mafia, I would have voted for them in the next round. Also wouldn't have been so vocal in the first round. Accuse me if you will, but I'm willing to defend my innocence with logic.

I'm more concerned about shorty794 who noted in round one that he/she was "wasting a vote." He/she was also one of the few people to vote both rounds, but both of his/her posts were seemingly unsuspicious - making me suspicious.

I abstain for the moment but await other opinions on shorty794 or his/her defense.

A man shrouded by darkness, causing his identity and role to be concealed begins a short speech for all to here. He occasionally pauses, using the time to take a deep swig of his cigarette before allowing it to rest between his slightly perched lips.

"My vote goes towards Shorty, both rounds he has voted for the majority including the first, which voting occurred with very little evidence. He also never justified his points to any degree, seemingly throwing blind votes into the blue.. Clearly someone who is being told what to do, not doing what they feel is right here.."

Keem glances  sideways at the over dramatic Dan, arching a brow.

"Uh, what Mr. LA Noir said..."

Very good points. And I suppose since someone's gonna have to get lynched I'll vote for Shorty for those reasons :\\\?? There still isn't an easy way of figuring out who the possible mafia could be. And not to mention there's one of us taking matters into their own hands, shooting up other townies.

"I look around and all I see is distrust. You doubt me, and will undoubtedly jump on a bandwagon and kill me this round. But think for a moment! Why choose me? To save your own skin? I'm sorry to say, but that's pathetic. Let's use a little reasoning here. I agreed to previous logic that made sense, but some of you simply state my name out of fear. I am no mafia member. If anything, it is those who speak loudly to use mob mentality that are the mafia. I abstain until further notice, I will go down without a fight."

Pandan hops on the bandwagan.

"Oblivionsbane!"

Grumbling, he mutters a single word in the most dramatic method possible, making sure keem hears it, just because.

".. Touché .. is what I would have said without any evidence! Merghg! I only voted that after several other people did, he'd be dead with or without my vote.. You however, eh? You vote before most even have a chance too.."

Aelidar rubs at confusion, suspicion, and stubble. His brow furrowed in thought, he nods slowly as evidence is presented for and against Shorty. He ponders, weighing up the evidence. He scratches his chin, then produces a notepad. He scribbles messily, noting down names, drawing arrows, and mutters to himself. He scrutinises those in the town square. Finally, he sighs, and offers the matter as he sees it.

"I may not trust SkyyoBee at this moment, but I am no longer confident in my accusation, which I now retract. Similarly, the evidence against Shorty is intriguing, but I remain unconvinced... I have pondered over the words that have been spoken over these last few, terrible days, and the motives of the mouths from whence they came. I am now convinced of one man's guilt."

He inhales, turning to face Irish. He stretches a single, quivering finger.

"Kallimar and Oblivion, two individuals who have opposed Irish, have been killed.

Kallimar voted quietly for Irish; in the chaos of the next morning we failed to consider why he might have died.

Consider the fact that there is a 50% chance that Kallimar was the doctor murdered that night; if so, why should he try to heal himself, except out of fear of being killed for his accusation? The vigilante would know who the doctor was, but I doubt they would step up and confirm.

The only other to vote for Irish was Oblivionsbane, but now that I think about it, we may have been very wrong in lynching him - why would a mafioso vote in isolation for Irish? Perhaps Oblivion was ridiculously unbased in his early votes - but many were. Irish was able to exploit this to the fullest, deftly turning the mob against Oblivion.

Kaun also opposed Oblivion, but proved himself rather clever in the process. Why would Irish neglect the opportunity to eliminate the danger that was Kaun whilst they seemed to be on the same side?

The only two to have opposed Irish are dead, with the full support of the mob. This fact demands our attention.

No one yet has felt the need to change their vote, but that option needs to seriously considered.

Many have been brief and unsuspicious in their votes - Elad, Shorty, SkyyoBee, Kuroi, Charoodler, Kallimar, Overland, James Green, Pandan. If we were to vote on this basis, I would point Elad out to you. However, I don't think that using such 'evidence' as justification is fair in our situation. The mafia would not all be utilising such a tactic. Irish has been employing logic, making dangerously measured statements.

I have remained silent so long as is necessary to weigh up the evidence, and to analyse the motives behind words, and behind deaths. Now is the time to speak up, and I am confident in my vote for the execution of Irish."

Aelidar steps back, shakily.

Aelidar's logic is very, very convincing. We pointed fingers at those who voted without any apparent evidence, I failed to connect the dots. Risking the execution noted in previous events for this, I vote for Irish.

A side note - Aelidar comments on people making "unsuspicious and brief votes," the alternative is suspicious and lengthy posts - something I don't believe innocents or mafia would be willing to do. Brief votes are also necessary in the first few rounds due to little evidence. Aelidar is also making me quite suspicious by pointing fingers at so many people with such flawed evidence - but I'll leave that be for now.

"A third of us are dead. I think now's the time to be coming to substantiated conclusions,"

He whispers, drawing his coat closer around him as the wind picks up.

His hair billows dramatically.

Aelidar's eyes widen in surprise, his mouth writhing in a loss for words; he jumps to his feet, clenching his fists and glaring at Irish,

"B-B-But I'm the vigilante!"

[insert gasps here]

His shoulders drop; he presents open palms, cracking a smile,

"Just kidding. Ha, ha. No? Okay."

He sighs, scratching his head.

"Erm, well; thanks for killing people, I suppose."

He produces his notepad once again, frowning and red-faced. He looks up again,

"Well. In that case, I'll be abstaining until I make another connection, or there is new evidence presented."

He retreats into the crowd. He nudges another citizen with his elbow,

"You gotta admit it was a good case that'd make sense if he weren't the other mass-murderer."

After the crowd finishes their debates and arguments they grab shorty794 and mercilessly carry him off to be hanged. Night falls, and even with seven people dead killers are still on the loose.

shorty794 has been lynched.

Night roles, you know the drill.

In the darkness the Mafia crept unseen, finally coming upon the unsuspecting SkyyoBee. They struck her down and left her dead in the street. Though their murder was finished, the night was not yet over. Another sulked through the shadows, this time targeting Elad. As Elad lay dying his twin, Charoodler, felt a pang in his chest. Their bond was so close that one could not survive without the other, and they left this world as they entered, together. The Vigilante had killed two innocents with one bullet. But now all his bullets were spent and he could think of nothing more to live for. Irish, the vigilante, threw himself off a nearby bridge and drowned.

This left only five citizens alive in the town. The only innocent townsfolk living were Pandan and Overland98 while all three mafia remained. When they saw that the town was outnumbered they took over, victorious. The Mafia members kuroi13, Keem, and Aelidar have won!

SkyyoBee was killed.

Elad was killed.

Charoodler died.

Irish died.

The Mafia won!
