[Request] Folklore On Pumpkineer And Pumpkiness

Hello, ladies and gentlemen!

The reason I write this post is to ask for a bit of your time and writing skills.

Recently, I've found the need to write down the lore for the two peculiar characters me and Roxforbraynz used to RP back in Asulon: Pumpkineer and Pumpkiness. Said lore should include Folklore, which is the lore known IC; what characters talk about, the rumours, the legends and myths.
Since a lot of you probably met those characters back in Asulon, either in the Cloud Temple or in the city of Ildon, I'd like to ask all those who remember the two pumpkin headed twins if you'd be as kind as to write a small fragment of your characters' journal, describing said individuals and their experiences with them.

For those who don't remember clearly: Pumpkineer and Pumpkiness were two energic pranksters, jokers and trolls that would provide RP for those bored in the Cloud Temple area. They both wore dark clothes and a pumpkin on their heads, which few were able to remove and live to tell the tale.

Despite Pumpkineer being the first one seen in Asulon, Pumpkiness was the one who dragged the most attention due to her physique and flirty behaviour. I can tell she stole many hearts back in the day. Their presence dates all the way back to Aegis, where they lead the Pumpkin Rebellion against the false Cactus God and his minions, which ended with the victory of the Pumpkin Army, and the creation of a new law in Malinor: No Pumpkins on heads. Thought to be creatures with immense power, they were deemed the titles of Pumpkin God and Goddess.

So, thank you for taking the time to read this post and thank you once more, beforehand, if you choose to aid me in this task :D

Once upon a time in Aegis there was a pumpkin man named Kane, and he was the best pumpkin man to ever live.

The end.

True, perhaps, but not the original. Pumpkineer and Pumpkiness gave the title of Pumpkin Lord to an elf named Aedan, back in Aegis. Said elf was not only their first officer during the war, but also their adoptive father. He still lives. Let's hope the pumpkin twins don't get angered by Knox :P

I decided I hadn't made a bardic song in a while, and took a bit to make this:

The Great Pumpkiness

My father came up to me one day

He said ‘Son, I hope you won’t have to pay

For my life I’ve sinned, true to God

Because one day, I messed with a pumpkin broad

I can remember that night so clearly

Better than the night I met your mother, although I do love her dearly

Two strangers came by

So frightful, nearly made me cry

A pumpkin on each of their heads

I had to make sure I was not on meds

Where are those, anyway?

I always talk in rhymes without them, are they in the entryway?

But I digress

One wore a pretty dress

Darker than your uncles soul

Even if it was dipped in coal

The other was a man, so I did not care

The nicest woman I’ve ever met, I swear

Made my heart flutter, my knees quiver

But I could not look at her head without a shiver

So I knew what must be done

I knew it was not a good idea, in the long run

But I gave that pumpkin a yank!

And she pulled out a shank!

That’s why they call me One-Ball Jon

For one of my eyeballs was gone

So if you see the Pumpkiness

Just stare at her dress!

I love it! Thank you a lot!

May I add this to the list of folklore I'm working on?

Here's a bit of a journal found floating in the wind. There is no name signed.
Malinor, 13th of the First Seed.

I don't know who they are or how they got here, but I think I like them.

I was just walking around Malinor, like any other day, when I passed the tailor's shop I heard some strange giggling. I turned around with a broad grin on my face, like I usually do, but I saw no one. No one! So I turned back to where I was going and kept walking.

A few paces later I heard the giggling again so I spun around once more and spoke with my most patient voice. "Who's there?"

Suddenly, a black-clothed, very well figured woman stepped out from behind one of the nearby trees. She had a pumpkin on her head. "One is scared?" she asked, smirking. I could tell by her voice she was laughing a little, even though I couldn't see her face.

"One is- no," I frowned, taking a step forwards and brushing some blue hair out of my face. "Is that gourd stuck on your head?" I motioned towards the pumpkin sphere that was atop her.

"Not at all," she said, staying where she was despite my advance. "One fancies pumpkins."

"One does, does she," I nodded slowly, gradually getting the hang of the girl's way of speaking.

"Yes, one does," she nodded, tilting her head as she looked at me.

And I felt the weirdest thing. It was like I was being tickled.

I turned around once more, my hand completely around the hilt of my longsword, only to find another pumpkin-person, but this time obviously a male. I still don't know why they wore those pumpkins, even to this day.

I assumed he was the one who tickled me. "And.. you.. are?" I asked slowly, my sword slightly out of its sheath.

"One does not know," he said with a voice that suggested he was smiling beneath his round, orange mask.

"Well, what's your name?"

"One's name is Pumpkineer."

"Pumpkineer," I nodded again, turning around to face the girl from before and back away from the pair of them so that they were both in my sight. "Yes, well, it's a pleasure to meet you two."

"One is scared!" the girl cackled. I tried to look at her face through the holes in her pumpkin but there only seemed to be darkness.

"One can tell," Pumpkineer agreed. I let my sword drop back down into its sheath as I dropped my hand to my side.

"And what's your name?" I motioned to the girl.

"Pumpkiness," she giggled melodically. I wondered if I giggled like that.

"Right... Well, it's been very nice meeting you.. ah.. Pumpkineer and Pumpkiness, but I should go- Van'ayla." I turned swiftly with a swish of my dress and strode off, leaving nothing but their giggles and laughter behind me. I don't think they followed me, but sometimes I feel like someone is about to tickle me again. And that laughter...

Yet they didn't even ask my name.
