The Honour Code Of Krugmar

We must uphold our honour in the eyes of the Spirits. We must renounce all things before we renounce our honour. Let it be known that any who violate this code of honour and any of its articles are to be subject to righteous punishment as they are offensive to the eyes of the Spirits and Krug.

 

1. We are not the Gazat. Greed is dishonourable.

- Do not take more than is necessary.

- Do not hoard that which would serve the War Nation and by extension the Spirits.

- Do not take from those who do you or the War Nation no wrong.

 

2. We are not the Snaak. Cowardice is dishonourable. You fight or you are dishonoured, the prospect of death is irrelevant.

- Do not run from the fight in fear.

- Do not beg at the feet of those who would kill you or take from you. 

 

3. We are not the Shara. Over promiscuity is dishonourable.

- Do not mate more than is necessary.

- Do not mate with the pink-skin or the whitewash or the half-breed.

- Do not violate the sanctity of the institution of life-mating with adultery.

 

4. We are not the Albai. Arrogance and unwarranted pride is dishonourable.

- Do not claim or say that which you cannot reinforce.

- Do not falsify events to bolster your ego.

- Do not assume yourself to be better than another at first glance.

 

5. We are not the Dark Forces that threaten the realm. The killing of those who do you no wrong is dishonourable.

- Do not strike down the child or the unarmed and innocent. 

 

6. We are not the deceiver. Duplicity is dishonourable.

- Do not break an oath you take.

- Do not fight before the opponent is ready.

- Do not betray those who have placed their trust in you.

 

7. We are not the heretic. The use of the arcane or the inherently evil is dishonourable.

- Do not take another deity above the Spirits and Krug.

- Do not practice any form of magic that is not that of the shaman.

- Do not allow the user of the Dark Arts to poison the realm with their existence.

 

8. We are not the beast. To bend to the Iblees-curse is dishonourable.

- Do not allow your bloodlust to overtake you outside the field of battle.

 

After one instance of a violation, the offender should be subject to a lashing or something equally punishing. After two instances of violations, the offender should be killed and have to undergo rehabilitation upon their revival. After three instances of violations, the offender shall be banished and branded whitewash with no chance of reclaiming their honour, hunted forever by the honourable.
