What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: - IceHelix

How old are you?: - I am turning 17 on August 30th.

Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where?: - Yes, I have roleplayed before on several games, including minecraft server called Uthrandir (I believe thats how its spelled.), and a few pixelmon servers for a brief time.

Have you applied to this server before? (Please link past applications): - I did apply a very long time ago, and thought I could try and do it again.

 

How did you hear about us?: - I heard about you via google.com when in search of roleplaying.

What do you THINK the server will be like? - I hope there will be a lot of fun roleplaying experiences, and also plenty of oppotunities to grow out.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes, I have read the rules.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - I agree mostly about the few that care about peoples feelings, such as the ones about OOC Racism, and also the ones about referencing to sex OOC and ICly.

Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yes, I understand the basics of Combat, and that both sides must agree to the type of combat (whether RP or PvP combat.)

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules):- No, everything seems to make sense, but I may need a little clearing up on how you guys do RP combat, cause its different for different servers.

 

Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is when you take up the role of your character that you make, and also go out with others to create your own stories using your creativity, and the lore given to you.

 

What’s metagaming?: -  Metagaming is when you know of events that take place without being physically there. A prime example is by seeing an event going on through chat, but you are not physically there to see what occurs, and then you use that knowledge at a later date.

 

What’s powergaming?: -  Powergaming is when you try and make an all powerful character, that usually has no flaws, or little to none. An example of this is whats called as a Mary Sue (I believe, not for certain.) Where in old games like Dungeons and Dragons, your character would be maxed out on most stats, and you would seem almost godlike, but it is not lore-friendly.

 

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

What’s your character called?: - Rodaric Thunderfist, but he goes by Rodney.

 

What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): -  He is a Human, and is a Northerner, but enjoys living in the urban lands.

 

What gender are they?: - Rodney is a Male.

 

How old are they?: -  Rodney is soon to turn 19, and become an apprentice in his craft.

 

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Rodney was born into a higher-class of Merchants/nobles of New Abresi. When travelling off of the road to the nearest city south of New Abresi, they were attacked by bandits! As his family got attacked and murdered, his mother dropped him into the river, as he flowed more downstream, and was soon picked up by a Dwarven lass of the Thunderfist clan, deep in the mountain's creeks. She raised him as one of her own, even though she was infertile. As he grew, he learned at a young age how to work the basics of a forge. Once the leader of the Thunderfists realized that he was a Human, and not a Dwarf, he told him that he must go, even though he was quite talented with a forge. As he was leaving to head back to the Human lands, the Dwarven lass gave him the little necklace that had the word "Ward" on it, the surname of his father.

 

What are they like? (PERSONALITY): -  He is an ambitious young man, and is always brave and up for the challenges ahead. He thinks before acting, but always seems to blush in front of nice ladies, due to being a sort of momma's boy. He also is kind, and friendly to new folk, willing to help out those in need of service. He enjoys being solitary most of the time though, to work hard on perfecting his skills of craft.

 

What are their ambitions?: - He plans to someday become a famous smith known throughout the lands. And perhaps even become the Royal Smith, or maybe even a Wizard so that he can enchant his weapons also. He also plans to make a very large shop that gives him nice space for an office, and nice smithing area also. He personally wants to make a living off of what he enjoys doing, blacksmithing.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): -  He is very knowledgeable, which allows him to learn quickly, and also works very hard at his hobby of Blacksmithing, giving him a unique edge above others of his skill. Though when conversing with other folk, he is like a dwarf, and not as quick to trust, even though he is friendly to them. He also is quite chivalrous, which makes his weakness to lovely maidens. And also, he has a large burn on his arm from the first time he was trained in the Dwarven forges.

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - He looks very young but decently handsome, and with a light blackish beard. He has dark green eyes, and wears a dwarven blacksmith suit, with a Thunderfist dwarven smithy hammer. He also has a nice haircut

I found the bandit slaughter thing slightly cliche, but I wouldn't deny you on those grounds. You have shown a knowledge of lore, which is very good for a new player. Welcome to Lord of the Craft. Hold for Implementation.
