Fimlin nails a parchment to the Kal'Agnar notice board.

" 'ere be 'ow we can actualleh go about makin' Kal'Agnar ah bettah place, rathah den jus' sayin' "ah'll make de golden age happen!"

•Make work areas near the front of the city, somebody made the mistake of putting the Forge area in the corner of the city.

•The Tavern must be run actively, by the most active people, a group can be hand picked to do the job, as nothing is more important than ale!

((•Though as of now we cannot make brews like we could back n' the days of Anthos, however it is possible to get maple syrup renamed and descriptions given in order to keep tavern roleplay a dominant trait in the city))

•Clan prestige system is poorly used, it should be something to strive to better the others, not just sit there. I suggest a complete revamp of the Clan Prestige system, and it's perks.

•Taxes must be lowered, they are to high and inconvient for many dwarves at such an early stage in this new realm.

•Sign posts with directions around the city would be helpful for new or returning dwarves.

•Many new lads have gotten fat and bored with nothing to do, I propose patrols and ventures are made, and just walking around the main road does not count!

•There are more ruins and various places to venture than any other realm, we must unlock the secrets of Athera!

•A Grand Dwavish navy must be constructed! This world has ever more water than before! Let us sail the seas and find what lurks beyond that of our home!

•It is pitiful to see that only clans Grandaxe and Starbreaker have a clan hall within the city! The inspiration to make such a clan hall has left the minds of dwarves! The inspiration can be brough back with fixing of the clan prestige

•The last High Remembrancer Odin Ireheart had payed for the bookshelves in the library with his own money! I promise to fund the entire construction of our grand library!

•A Kingdom Vault Checkbook will be made an publicly shown to the sons of Urguan, so that they know what their Kingdom has been spending it's wealth on.

•Feasts, festivals, fairs, those are always exciting and the lads love em, keep up the morale!

((•ET is on break, but you don't need an ET to play say a rogue ogre terrorizing the farms, you could easily just contact Someone who plays an Orc or really anyone who isn't busy and can roleplay properly.))

If the lads are not kept busy or happy, there won't be need of petty power promises or government changes, those contribute only a small amount to them enjoying their time in Kal'Agnar, and tell me, what's more important than a happy population? Nothing, that's it

- Demolish it all, reconstruct it so it looks dwarven, not human highlander-northerner.

- Depose all the governmental members who have been ruining our nation and bar them from office in the future.

- Hold regular government sponsored events to get people to come around.

- Free housing for moderately sized homes, taxed ones should only be larger then two rooms.

- Tax-free clan halls.

- Less open space, condense the city.

- Deregulation of building codes, allow people to expand homes and building in so far as it doesn't infringe on another's property and so long as it isn't ugly.

- Complete deregulation of the dwarven economy. Screw the useless guilds and screw the chartered companies. If you want to make money off economic activities, charge merchants and charge guilds that hire land out, don't charge them for fecking existing.

Love, Bael.

Lilum begins to speak to himself after seeing the note, while tugging on the tips of his beard,

"Move fatha undagroun'. Da skoi ez tuh broight 'nd ah loike mah stone!"

OOC:

-Move deeper underground and stop being top side junkies. We're dwarves for crying out loud, we make our living underground and all I could see when I first joined the Dwarves were above ground homes. It urks me a bit honestly, but that is just some feedback.

-After the random dwarf shouts, Thoak mutters-

"Tae taxes can easily be looered to 5 percent 'o its original price 'oot was sold fer, but in no way shoold t'ese hooses be free! Per'aps lowered in pricin', but nae free. As far as a checkbook, I am never told wot tae T'anes an' Grand King spends tae kingdoms mina on. If ye 'ur willin' tae go throogh such tae efforts in makin' a booklet 'o wot ye spend on tae kingdom an' send it tae me for I can compile 'oot into a checkbook tae be publicly released to tae kingdom, den so be 'oot. As far as tae Starbreaker an' Grandaxe Clan'alls, t'ey 'ave strived fer t'eir clanhall an' raised tae mina tae purchase 'em. 'Oot shoold be a feat t'at is accomplished by tae clan, nae handed 'oot fer free! Also, tae Ironguts noo' 'ave a clanhall within' tae city 'o Kal'Agnar, so 'oot is nae just tae Grandaxes an' Starbreakers."

Kailon picks up on the mention of far off ruins & lands needed to be explored. He then murmurs to himself while reading through the rest of the notice.

"Heh...Jus' like dem delvers frum way back when..."

"It is true what yeh say, Fimlin. It is eh grave mistake tu 'ave tha smithy all tha' way in tha' back, as it is per'aps the most important aspect ov oor 'eritage. In fact, smithing should be 'un ov our key trades, which unfortunately is nae' tha case wit' dis smithy.

Wot oi propose, is tae' carve oot eh new forge insoide tha' small hill next tu tha gate. Accessibul tae' all dwarves, wit' eh shop run by tha' most competent companeh wit' smit'in as t'eir field. Indeed, Oi've thought ov dis fer eh long toime, n' Oi believe it should look sum'fin loike dis."

Balek unfurls a roll of paper, revealing blueprints of what appears to be a cavernous forge, carved into the hill next to the Kal'Agnar gate.

"Wit' dis location, tha' visitors cannae' miss deh gloreh ov dwarven smithin'. It'll be tha best smitheh in all ov Athera, and as yeh can see, all ore goes directly intu tha facility fer smeltin, via eh minecart system t'at extends far intu tha moines. T'at's wot Oi call industreh."
