[Ooc] Looking For Ideas For New Rp

Hello my good people of the community of LotC.

I need some ideas to spice up one of my character's RP on my alt account, which is at an all time low... I'm searching for quality, fun, non-trolly RP with an active playerbase. Guilds, RP groups, organizations, situations... Even slavery's acceptable as long as it's fun.

This character's name is Pandora; she's a knowledgeable, golden haired elf of 320 years old, experienced in domestic management, invention, and survival; if need be, she can also defend herself with the sword and crossbow. She's a wood elf, despite her paler-than-usual skin for the subrace. Though she isn't my most developed character, she still has a rich personal history.

So, if any of you have some good ideas or suggestions for what to do, please post them on this thread. If I'm interested, I'll PM you my Skype username on the forums and inquire more about your idea/suggestion.

You need to figure out a way to be able to approach people/create roleplay.

 

It's really hard to figure out a way to do that, though. That's why taverns are popular. As long as you are comfortable with sitting down at the bar, looking beside you to the person and trying to start talking, you can get roleplay. But, I dunno, that's not always the easiest thing to do, especially if the other players don't recognize this/their characters wouldn't react in a way that would give you much rp.

 

I roleplay a bard. So I can go pretty much anywhere and spam chat with my shitty lyrics, sing, whatever, but I still don't roleplay as much as I'd love to.

 

The best way to do this is to get involved in a nation or a guild, I guess, but that's not always an option.

Also, set a goal  for your character. Learn magic; find some famous character; learn a skill. Just some examples. That's basically how I got through my lack-of-rp interludes
