A Notice From A Druid

A note has been pinned to the notice board in Kal'garud. The parchment is a light green tone with gold designs on the edges depicting vines and leaves. The script on it is neat and precise, the handwriting flowing together very carefully.

"To the dwarves of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan,

I come to you with a very simple reason, and I'll get straight to the point so as not to take up too much of your time. It has come to my attention that a cluster of rabbit warrens in your lands have been boarded up, forcing their inhabitants out of their homes. The snow hares that lived in those warrens are now staying in the Druid's Grove, far too warm for them to be comfortable or likely to survive.

Being that the hares are a very important part of the environment in the area both as a means to get rid of overgrown underbrush in the area as well as being a food source for the wolves, it is important that they are able to stay in the area. However, with the wolves regularly patrolling where they once lived as well as the entire area, they are not able to simply dig new warrens or create new paths into their existing homes.

I request that whoever has forced these animals from their homes to please step forward and remove the boards that they may return to where they belong. If it was not a dwarf, I beseech you to explore the area, discover who has boarded them up, and convey the message to them.

The warrens in question reside a short distance up from the pass past this very city. All you need to do to find them is exit from your main gate, take a right past the farms over the river, through the cavern there filled with large mushrooms, and take another right at the crossroad across another bridge into the forest. You will find various wolf tracks along with the boarded up warrens.

It is important that these animals can return to the home where they belong, lest they fall to a far worse death than being torn apart by the hungry wolves in the area.

-Sincerely,

Hare Druid Taynuel Deathsbane"

A dark elf stands near the board, looking over the note as he steps away. He is clad in a dark green tunic and brown leggings, as well as a long leather cloak. On the back of his cloak is a carefully stitched image of a snow-white rabbit with brown eyes. His short hair falls in well-kept locks around his face, silver eyes scanning the note. It would be clear that he's the one that put it there.

Kailon looks over the notice and ponders to himself.

Not once had he seen a single wolf around the dwarven kingdom.

If he had, he would have tamed one by this point.

Norik Grandaxe, Druid of the Mountain, sends Taynuel a reply

"Send your hares to my or Sharr's Mountain Grove, they will be well cared for there, and well

away from whoever did such a terrible act."

Norik then sets off to building an area for the hares.
