Witch Doctor Quests

   As the sun beats down on the hot savanna city of San'Vitar, the Goj blows a simple horn to alert the orcs of an announcement. It sounds clearly through the dry air of the goi.

"Bruddahz agh ziztahz!" he shouts from atop the sacred plateau, "Mi wull bi offurin rewurdz fur aneh willun tu helb mi gathur zymbulz agh ingrediuntz fur mi wizch doktureh! Iv lat intrezt'd, blah tu mi ad mi blarg behynd da ztoraj hut!" He then motions in the general direction of his cave. He also realizes he needs to rebuild the Yar Clan's great brass horn from Anthos.

 

((Translation: "Brothers and sisters!" he shouts from atop the sacred plateau, "I will be offering rewards for any willing to help me gather symbols and ingredients for my witch doctory! If you're interested, speak to me at my home behind the storage hut!" He then motions in the general direction of his cave. ((So, I'll be trying to offer some errands to serve kind of like mini-quests for orcs. For those who might not be aware, my orc has been a practicing witch doctor for close to a year. As a witch doctor, Malog commonly needs plants and objects for potions and rituals. The objective in these errands will be to go fetch some sort of reagent for Malog. It may be something bizarre, something more mundane or I may send you after more than one item at a time if I feel it necessary. In return, you'll be rewarded with either a nice item or more likely an interesting potion to spice up your rp. For example, Malog may be pleased enough with your character's efforts to reward him/her with a bottled fire hex to throw at an enemy in combat, or a potion imbued with the will of a nature spirit to give your character a temporary affinity with animals. Keep in mind, a witch doctor's brew is not always the same as an alchemist's potion, and is usually an rp item due to the oddity of the effect. Anyways, this should help those of you looking for things for your characters to do. It was actually a very nice rp creator for another player I know, who used to rp as Malog's assistant in the Fringe.))
