  • Consistently depriving another player (or players) of their fun for your own personal gain or amusement, even after receiving appropriate warnings, is punishable if deemed necessary by the moderation teams. This may also be considered harassment. Essentially, don't be a troublesome player that only plays to annoy others or be a nuisance.

Consistent toxicity is just as it sounds. I elaborated earlier on in this thread in the above quote.

Thanks for the feedback Jistuma, I will make some changes tomorrow.

I also should have probably mentioned that we do plan on further defining these rules and elaborating upon them, but this will be at a later date and in another thread (the bottom of the rules page will link to the elaboration). We wanted to get the new rules page out as soon as possible, so this thread and the discussions held within will have to do for now.

I'm curious on how Antagonists will work now, seeing as we need Ooc consent to take regions now (or attack them)

The previous antagonist were given leeway with some rules, I presume this would be a time that may occur.

From what I understand in that case it's "Majority Rules"

So if 6 people get into a fight, 5 with armor want PVP and 1 without doesn't want to PVP then it's PVP automatically.

Incorrect, it is as the rules say. Mechanical combat is used in any case where an unanimous agreement cannot be reached.

Case in point, if I dont stand a chance against you in Mechanical PVP due to gear but I do in Rp due to skill and they will not agree to RP PVP, then it defaults automatically in their favor and can Mechanical PVP. AKA, they just have to say ' No dont want to ' and then you get killed. I've seen it waaaay too many times to be comfortable.

Better gear can be RPed as better skill.

You only require OOC consent to conquer land, not attack it. The Undead have their own set of rules to follow.

I have seen it abused where someone will try to say "well it says I have to be ready for pvp and I'm not" and while moderator never agree with that and never will, I say its better to just cut out the middle man and make it clear.

This is going To make RP and gameplay on this server so much easier and enjoyable for all parties and I'm really happy this was put in place.

Thank You

That'd fall under the "Breaking Server Lore".

Aside from the rule that said "you have 1 week to un-pk a character" there was never a rule that said "You can't play a PK character", because PK means it's Permanently dead, meaning, he can't be played anymore.

We have removed any remnants of the mechanical standard rule, and instead replaced it with the following statement:

(We do not allow the following on the server)

  • Using roleplay to get into areas that are not accessible via Minecraft mechanics

Additionally, we have modified the "consistently toxic" rule, to include:

  • Intentionally causing trouble or being consistently toxic

I was going to add "intentionally causing trouble" as a separate rule in itself, but I have decided to merge the two. Essentially, "intentionally causing trouble" covers spamming, impersonation, undermining staff for different verdicts, et cetera. Thus, we have removed "mod-shopping" from the rules page, but it is still a rule in that it falls under causing trouble. However, we most likely won't ban for this, and we will instead just inform you of what you are doing wrong (mod-shopping).

I know the majority of bans are Temp-Banned, With the newly cleaned rules will longer temp-bans and perm bans be more frequent on the server?
